Planning Sheet
You and your partner(s) will need to plan what materials you will need to represent the cell parts and get your
labels created so that when you take pictures, you can focus on just taking pictures rather than getting your
materials put together.

**MITOSIS IN MOTION**
You and your partner(s) will be creating an animated video using the applications, IMotion HD/Imovie, with the IPADs. This video
will be covering the process of the cell cycle (most specifically: the phases of mitosis)—interphase, prophase, metaphase,
anaphase, telophase, and cytokinesis. Think of this project as a virtual mitosis flipbook! IMotion HD is an animation technique to
make a physically manipulated object appear to move on its own. The object is moved in small increments between individually
photographed frames, creating the illusion of movement when the series of frames is played as a continuous sequence. This is known
as “stop motion.” Although you will be working with your peers on this project, you will be graded as an individual based on the
effort you put forth for this assignment. Below is the list of criteria that will determine your grade for this project. I will provide a
checklist each day of my expectations. As always, please use the resources I provide on my webpage as well in order to help you be
successful on this project. **DUE TO THE FACT THAT YOU WILL ONLY BE USING ONE GROUP MEMBERS IPAD, IT IS ESSENTIAL THAT
YOU ARE IN COMMUNICATION WITH YOUR GROUP MEMBERS…THIS IS AN IN CLASS PROJECT.**
