Missed/Late Work
There is a procedure for this…
Missed work is set aside until student returns.
Late work is turned in with a late slip in a
separate bin.
Late work is often graded last, unless needed
for project completion or to prepare for an
assessment.
Conferences

How You Can
Help…
Create a quiet work area at home.
Encourage your child to read 20 minutes a day.
Encourage your child to utilize learned editing & revising
skills (read aloud & highlight).
Please proofread work by pointing out mistakes, but not
fixing them.
Encourage them to self-advocate as much as possible.
Donations of supplies, scrapbook paper, books,
magazines, and tissues are always very much
appreciatedīŠ
