Liturgy: (the work of the people)
The people of Genesis gather together on Sundays to worship God, to remember the
story of God, and to find our place within in it again (because we forget it so often).
We gather to join God’s work of cultivating new beginnings in all of us, everywhere.
After our gathering, if you are in need of prayer for anything, please come to the
stage area and we will pray for you. Rest easy today. God is for you.
A Word About Kids at Genesis: We love kids. We love the way they move around, and we welcome the extra
noise they make. Kids ages 7 and up (and any age that wants to) worship with us in the theater. Parents & grandparents:
read through the liturgy with them (they’ll learn by watching you). Encourage them to shout out their answers when
questions are thrown out. Help them participate in the Eucharist. Kids help us to see and know God, so let’s be grateful
for the joyful noise they make!

The Call to Worship: (fixing our minds and hearts on God as we begin)
Leader: God rules! Great is the Lord in Zion. He is honored over all of the nations.
All: Let all people praise his great and wonderful name. He is holy.
Leader: The King is mighty. He loves what is good. He has set up the rules for justice.
He has done what is right and good for all people.
All: Honor the Lord our God. Worship at his feet. He is holy.
Leader: Moses and Aaron were two of his priests. They called out to the Lord. And he answered them. He spoke to them
from the pillar of cloud. They obeyed his laws and the orders he gave them.
All: We call out to you Lord, as our fathers did. Answer us in our times of need and abundance. Speak to us in our
hearts, we will obey your commands. The Lord our God is holy.

School (3733 Vera Cruz Avenue North in Crystal), on November 2 & 9, at 10:30am. RiverTree is located just five
miles north of Sabes and right off of Highway 100. We’ll be back at Sabes on November 16.

send with me. Yet You have said, ‘I know you by name, and you have also found grace in My sight.’ 13 Now therefore, I
pray, if I have found grace in Your sight, show me now Your way, that I may know You and that I may find grace in Your
sight. And consider that this nation is Your people.” 14 And He said, “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you
rest.” 15 Then he said to Him, “If Your Presence does not go with us, do not bring us up from here. 16 For how then will it
