Goal: Sing with good singing posture during class today, and make it a daily goal EVERY time
you sing.

its original state.
Ex: F# goes a half step down to be natural again, or an Eb goes a half step up to be
natural again
Flat (b) - a musical sign that makes a note a half step lower in pitch.
Ex: Eb, Bb
Key Signature - a musical indicator that is displayed at the beginning of a piece that tells the
musician the key of the piece and which notes will be sharp, natural, or flat throughout the
piece.
Side Note: Sharp, natural, & flat signs are also known as accidentals. An accidental carries
through the entire measure, so in the next measure is goes back to its original state indicated
by the key signature.
