Study Abroad is opportunity to study at a foreign
university for one year or one semester including English
language learning as part of the program (if required).
Academic credit transfer between universities is
arranged whenever possible.

Study Abroad Foundation

Founded by the Institute for Study Abroad, IFSA-Butler: A non-profit
organization which was founded in 1988 and is today a network of over
200 universities in 13 countries. Every year approximately 4,000
American and Canadian students participate in the IFSA-Butler’s study
abroad programs.
The Institute for Study Abroad海外學習學院 – 即IFSA-Bulter，協助成立SAF，
創始於1988年，至今已經在海外13個國家，與200所大學締結合作聯盟，每

Step 1- Choose a University or College

Upon deciding to go on an SAF program, students will need
to select 1-3 possible host universities to attend.

An advisor will look your application over to make sure that the university
chosen can meet your academic needs. If he or she thinks that another school

Once a SAF host university responds with an acceptance, the SAF will send
the student a complete acceptance packet:
