Foundations: Has Evolution Debunked Creationism?
Introduction:
“Thanks to the theory of evolution, naturalism is now the dominate religion of
modern society. Less than a century and a half ago, Charles Darwin popularized
the credo for this secular religion with his book, “The Origin of the Species.”
Although most of Darwin’s theories about the mechanisms of evolution were
discarded long ago, the doctrine of evolution itself has managed to achieve the
status of a fundamental article of faith in the popular mind. Naturalism has now
replaced Christianity as the main religion in the Western world, and evolution has
become naturalism’s principal dogma.
Naturalism is the view that all things in existence to include matter, life, ethics,
morality, beauty, complexity, and intelligence are the result of natural, rather than
supernatural, causes. Naturalism is inherently anti-theistic (anti-God) rejecting the
concept of a personal or impersonal God. Naturalists want us to believe that their
view is based purely upon scientific objectivity. They claim to be absolutely nonreligious in character. However, religion is exactly what naturalism is. The entire
philosophy is based upon a faith-based premise. What naturalists believe has not
been observable and has not been verified by scientific experimentation. It is a
belief system based upon unverifiable belief.
The Premise of Evolution: The natural evolutionary process can account for the
origin of all matter and all living species.
 Nothing + No One + Time = _____________ and _________________.
 Evolution is the theory of development from earlier forms: the theoretical
process by which all species develop from earlier forms of life. Molecules
to _________.
 Darwin: “All species of life have evolved over time from common
ancestors through a process called ____________ ______________.”
The Premise of Creationist: The transcendent self-existent God spoke time,
matter and all living species into existence.
 God + Nothing + Six Days = Everything and Everyone

Implication of Naturalism and Creationism:
Naturalism =
o I am the result of random chance with no eternal purpose.
o No one created me and no one owns me.
o I am ultimately accountable to no one.
o I make my own rules.
Creationism =
o I am the unique creation of a loving God with an eternal purpose.
o I am created and owned by God.
o I am accountable to my Creator.
o God makes the rules that govern my life.
What the Bible says:
 Genesis 1:1 “In the beginning God _____________…”
 God created “…according to their (its) kind…” God created each living
thing according to “its kind.” This is stated emphatically _____ _________
in Genesis chapter 1. Life did not evolve from a singular species, but rather
from the being was uniquely created “…according to its kind…”
What science says:
 Naturalists want you to believe that science has empirical evidence that
confirms the reality of evolution. This is simply not true.
 Naturalists want you to believe that all scientists are evolutionists. This is
simply not true.
o The father of modern science, Francis Bacon, was a creationist and a
conservative Christian.
o Sir Isaac Newton, considered the greatest scientist to ever live, was a
creationist and conservative Christian.
o Every major branch of science was given to us by creationists.
o In 2001, the Scientific Dissent from Darwinism was launched. Over
800 PHD scientists from schools including Princeton, Harvard,
Oxford, Cambridge, Berkeley, UCLA,… have signed the statement.
It reads, “We are skeptical of the claims for the ability of random
mutation and natural selection to account for the complexity of life.
Careful examination of the evidence for Darwinian theory should be
encouraged.”

The Crumbling Pillars of Evolution:
1. Chemical Evolution (Spontaneous Generation)
It is a basic premise of biology that life comes from ________. However,
evolutionists state that in the beginning life came from non-life.
However, scientists have not been able to produce life from chemicals.
Chemical evolution is _______________ science not ______________ science.
 Historical science is science based on past events that cannot be
verified. They do not always, but sometimes, include speculation,
best guess and bias.
 Operation science is based on verifiable evidence.
Scientist Stanley Miller was able to combine methane, ammonia, water vapor
and electricity and produce an amino acid which is the building block of
protein. However, there were numerous problems with the experiment and
even Miller himself denies the validity of the experiment.
The probability of the first protein molecule happening by random chance is so
improbable that is it determined mathematically impossible.
Chemical evolution/Spontaneous Generation/Life from Non-Life is a statistical
impossibility.
2. Vestigial Organs
Evolutionists proposed that as many as 100 organs or structures found in the
body were leftover organs from a previous inferior state.
3. Finches on Galapagos
It was believed by Darwin that finches on Galapagos were a prime example of
rapid evolution of a species.

4. Four-winged fruit fly
Most fruit flies have two wings but some were discovered to have four. It was
believed to be evidence of evolutionary development
5. Antibiotic Resistance
The discovery of antibiotic resistant bacteria was once believed to be the result
of positive mutation.
6. Fossil Records
If evolutionary theory is true, the fossil record should present us with plenteous
examples of transitional forms.
7. Apes to Man
There are only three ways to get apes to man:
 Up-scaling of the fossil records. You upscale ape bones to human status.
This is what was done with the infamous Lucy. It has now been proven
that Lucy was an ape.
 Down-scaling of the fossil records. You downscale human bones to ape
status. Neanderthal man was a man not an ape. It was a group of
humans who suffered from rickets and arthritis.
 Fabrication. Piltdown, Java and the Nebraska man hoax. These were
human and/or animal remains combined to fool the masses.
Conclusion:
Naturalism, after a century and a half of research, is more suspect today than ever
before. Operational science continues to verify the truth of Scripture and reveal
the fairy tale nature of naturalism and its foundational tenet of evolution.

face the reality of God.”
