FBLA Competitive Events Review Sheet New Jersey State Leadership Conference 2016 Overview Due to the changes in National and State Competitive Events, below you will find a review sheet that will help you prepare your teams for competition at the State Leadership Conference. Prejudged Report – presentation at the SLC for finalists Reports have been submitted and prejudged for the following events. Top five finalists have been notified to prepare a seven (7) minute presentation. Competitors must bring laptop computers and projectors. Screens will be provided. Graphic Design Sales Presentation (Individual) Social Media Campaign (Individual or Team) Business Ethics (Team) Introduction to Business Presentation Prejudged Projects – no presentation at SLC Competing individuals or teams submit a project to be prejudged. No presentation is required at SLC. Computer Game and Simulation Programming Desktop Application Programming Publication Design Digital Video Production E-Business Electronic Career Portfolio Public Service Announcement Website Design Computer Offsite Test – Objective test at SLC Competitors who qualified at the RCE take an offsite production test. At the SLC, they will take an objective test. Computer Applications Database Design & Application Spreadsheet Applications Word Processing Speaking Events Competitors will present a speech, either prepared or impromptu depending on the event. Emerging Business Issues Impromptu Speaking Public Speaking I Public Speaking II Qualify at RCE, Interview at SLC Finalists qualified at the RCE, submitted a resume and letter, participate in a 10-minute interview at the SLC. Future Business Leader Job Interview Scholarship Qualify at RCE with an objective test, objective test at SLC Top eight competitors in each region qualified at RCE. Take an objective test at SLC.
