Reflect on Soul Surfer.
Write a journal entry (informational – NOT PERSUASIVE) on the topic of the
importance of supporting individuals facing obstacles.
Use text evidence from Soul Surfer.
Three paragraphs will be sufficient for a journal entry (not when it is an essay though).
You will need 6-7 sentences in each paragraph. Remember to have an introduction,
body paragraph and conclusion.
TIPS:
*Your thesis should be the last sentence in the introduction and should tie in with the rest
of your journal.
*The topic sentence in your body paragraph should tie in with thesis. Remember T–I –D-E.
*The conclusion should restate (not word for word) your thesis & body paragraph.
