ECTAC Mission
• The mission of the East Coast Technical
Assistance Center (ECTAC) is to provide
educational consultation services that assist
local school districts and high poverty
schools in their efforts to ensure that all
children have a fair, equal, and significant
opportunity to obtain a high-quality
education.

ECTAC Parent Involvement Initiatives
In 1995, The East Coast Technical
Assistance Center (ECTAC) created a
regional Parent Involvement Team for
the purpose of building the capacity of
district and school-based Title I personnel
with duties and responsibilities for
implementing the statutory requirements
of NCLB Title I, Part A, Section
1118. PARENTAL INVOLVEMENT.
