Role Profile: Digital Marketing and Communications Manager Purpose of the role: To develop and manage New Wine’s digital marketing strategy through a variety of new media channels Line manager: Head of Marketing and Communications New Wine is looking for a Digital Marketing and Communications Manager to come and join the creative, dynamic team to build, develop and manage the growing digital marketing strategy. This role has a strong focus on the development of New Wine in the digital sphere, focussing on website, emarketing, social media, apps and video production. Key responsibilities Day to day management of New Wine’s website, including editing copy, incorporating images, creating new pages, liaising with developers for site development and fixes and general maintenance and updating tasks. Development and implementation of New Wine’s digital marketing strategy in line with the brand plan. Management of New Wine’s social media channels (including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and YouTube), ensuring these channels are not only regularly updated but provide a valuable marketing tool for New Wine, at the same time building an online community of New Wine ‘ambassadors’. Management of third party consultants and companies to deliver projects on time and to budget. Management of New Wine’s event apps, including content creation and dealing with third party developers. Further responsibilities: Blogging: Development and application of blogging strategy; project manage the development of any necessary tools for this, and work at events to deliver blogging content. Film and video: Filming, pre- and post-production of New Wine’s monthly bulletins and post-production of a range of other short bulletins and ad hoc filming tasks. Assist with New Wine’s regular e-communications. Assist as necessary with creation and production of event publicity – e.g. event flyers and programmes, magazine and others as required. Work with our Church Leaders’ Network team to help them equip and resources church leaders across the country. Work with the Marketing and Communications team to develop the New Wine brand, and ensure it is consistently used across the organisation. Assist other departments as and when needs arise, and work at a range of New Wine events throughout the year, including at the National Gatherings each summer.
