Fire Protection Systems
Note: A minimum of 2A fire extinguisher is required for most new and existing occupancies. A travel
distance of less than 75 feet to the extinguisher is required. A good all around fire extinguisher rating
of 2A10BC will meet the fire extinguisher requirement for most buildings. Check with Galesburg Fire
Prevention or your fire extinguisher service company. 906.1
