Garrett Ingram, VP and Head of US Market Access

Garrett Ingram joined Sanofi as Vice President and Head of US Market Access on January 31, 2014. She reports to Jez Moulding, President, North America

Pharmaceuticals, and is based in Bridgewater, NJ.

As the VP and Head of US Market Access, Garrett is responsible for building and continually enhancing best-in-class market access capabilities to build and retain competitive advantage in a dynamic market environment.

The Market Access team develops and implements strategies focused on payers, one of our key customers, and important market access stakeholders. They also work closely with the patient centered units to deliver unique customer-centric programs and services that improve overall patient outcomes while demonstrating value across the payer channel.

Garrett brings more than 20 years of managed care and marketing experience largely in the US. In her most recent position as vice president of market access strategy at Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), she led the access, reimbursement, patient affordability and emerging customer strategy teams across the portfolio of diabetes, cardiovascular, oncology, immunology, neuroscience and pipeline assets. Prior to BMS, she held leadership roles for six years in the commercial and medical organizations at Novo Nordisk. She served as senior/executive director and AVP of managed markets strategy, pricing and contracting and health economics and outcomes research. One of the key focuses was the integration of HEOR endpoints into early phase clinical trial development as well as throughout the product life cycle.

Garrett joined Novo Nordisk in 2006, having organizational responsibilities for managed markets strategies and operations, pricing and contracting and HEOR. In this capacity, Garrett partnered with United Health

Group, the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), the YMCA and retail pharmacies to deliver the Diabetes

Prevention and Control Alliance (DPCA), an innovative public and private partnership designed to help prevent and control diabetes, pre-diabetes and obesity with evidence-based compliance solutions.

Prior to joining Novo Nordisk, Garrett served in leadership positions within the public and private sectors including extensive marketing, launch, managed care, health economics and multi-product lifecycle experience with Pfizer, Pharmacia/Upjohn, and health care provider organizations. Her pharmaceutical launch and lifecycle management expertise in US managed markets spans biologics, devices, and small molecules within multiple therapeutic classes including diabetes, hemophilia, arthritis, pain, hypertension, anxiety, depression, migraine, overactive bladder, specialty injectables, and in consumer products.

Garrett holds a B.S. from East Carolina University, Masters and post graduate studies in public health & community education from the University of South Carolina, as well as executive leadership programs in pharmaceuticals & leadership at Wharton School of Business.
