School Exit Exam
 Students must pass both sections of the CAHSEE to
earn a high school diploma
 All sophomores will take the CAHSEE

 Feb 6, 2013 (Math)
 If your student does not pass he or she will have
multiple opportunities during his/her junior and
senior year to retest and may be placed in
intervention courses during summer/school year.

 The PSAT is a Practice Test for the SAT
 On average students who take the PSAT do better on
the SAT
 Tests are Given Only Once in October
 All sophomores took the PSAT on October 17, 2012
 Counselors will review the results with the students
on January 18th
 Recommended to take the PSAT junior year as the
student may be Eligible for National Merit
Scholarship Competition
PLAN
 The PLAN is a Practice Test for the ACT
 On average students who take the PLAN do
better on the ACT
 Tests are Given Only Once in October
 PLAN Test was given on October 18, 2012
