6.4.1 Fatal & Hospitalisation Related Crashes
Crashes have been further reviewed to determine which crashes resulted in a fatality or
hospitalisation. Details of fatal crashes have been described in Table 0.1.

Since the fatality at Haig Road/Richmond Street in May 2009, the intersection has been
upgraded from a priority controlled junction to a roundabout.
Details of the seven most costly locations by intersection and road section for crashes that
resulted in hospitalisation have been reported in Table 0.2 and illustrated in Figure 0.1.
