Studied and designed planning & optimisation system for Tobacco Division of ITC Ltd., to give optimal
solution for “which factory of ITC should manufacture how much of which brands and ship to which
market so that the total manufacturing, landed raw material, inward and outward freight, and the interest
costs on duty paid inventory locked in transit is minimum subject to constraint of factory capacities and
loading minimum production as per long term agreement of each factory”.
Studied and designed “Master Budget System”, a decision support system for Tobacco Division of ITC Ltd.,
to work out brand costs/contribution of each brand at factory level and at all India level for the division.
System evaluates different price demand alternatives for planning and performance reviews.

man/year project by 14 programmers/systems analysts for export to USSR. Computer System Simulator
(similar to IBM’s CSS II) is a discrete simulation language for the manufacturer of the Reyad Systems
(compatible with IBM 360/370 system) for pre-implementation evaluations of the designs of hardware,
software and environments in which the computer will work in order to identify the critical elements of the
design, its feasibility and scope for improvement of the performance, if possible.
Designed & developed report module of EC-1030 VEHICLE SCHEDULING PROGRAM(1977), a Vehicle
Scheduling Program package (similar to IBM’s VSP package), was developed for software export to USSR.
Developed “SEVEN TRACK TO NINE TRACK TAPE CONVERSIONS (1976)” a two step tape
conversion system from seven track to nine track tapes (TDC-312 to R-1030) using software techniques
only.
Designed and headed development team for “H.T. & L.T. Consumer Billing System (1976)” for A.P.State
Electricity Board for electricity billing, accounting and Statistical analysis.
