Nuts & Bolts of Electronic
Submissions
•
All job boards use Keyword’s to match resumes and job searches.
•
Employers posting jobs on their website use Keyword Scanning to
prioritize resumes to the skills they are seeking.
•
When employers post jobs on job boards, the job boards rank the
percentage that resumes match their job opportunity using Keywords.
•
If your resume does not include Keywords that materially match the
job opening you are submitting to then your resume will not be a
priority.
•
The more Keywords in your resume that match the Keywords in the
job posting will determine your resume priority – but don’t go
overboard…stay Honest!
