FLASH CARDS

A flash card is a quick reminder of
information, equations diagrams or
data.

Never put too much information on a
card, you need to be able to read it
quickly (less than 30 seconds).

It is better to write your own flash card
rather than buy a set. This will help you
remember them.

Put the flash card in your planner or
pocket and look at them as many times
as you can (at least 10 times a day.)

A concept map is a summary of
a topic, it has main branches of
information and coming out from
those are smaller branches with
additional key points.

The main branches should be in
capital and indicate a keyword
e.g. Macbeth, Forces,
Earthquakes
