President’s Message Hello Fellow IIA members The 2011/2012 meeting program is officially kicked off with a successful first meeting. The workshop on how to communicate effectively was very beneficial. Our October meeting will be joint with the local ISACA group. I hope everyone can attend. (See page one of this newsletter for details of this meeting.) Currently, the officers/board are working on creating a process to ensure our IIA meetings are in guidance with the Iowa CPA requirements. This process will ensure that the CPEs offered from the IIA meetings will be eligible for CPA CPEs. We should have the new process in place before the next IIA meeting in November.
