Advanced Placement Course Contract in order for my student to enroll in AP/Pre AP classes. I also understand my

Advanced Placement Course Agreement
*Required in order to register for any Pre-AP/AP course(s).
The Pre-AP/AP program is a college preparatory program that teaches advanced skills to give students the opportunity to earn
college credit while in high school and to help students develop the habits to be successful in college. Advanced Placement course
syllabi are approved by College Board.
Please read and initial next to each of the following statements. Signatures of the student and parent are required before
students may register in a Pre AP or AP course.
I understand that:
_____since Pre-AP/AP courses may require a substantial amount of work outside of class for successful completion of the courses, I
should carefully evaluate the time commitments and priorities of extracurricular and community activities before I consider enrolling
in the courses.
_____additional homework and study hours are required in this program and I agree to dedicate myself in order to be successful.
_____by requesting Pre-AP/AP course(s), I am making a commitment to stay in the course for which my enrollment was planned for
the entire year unless the course is a semester course.
