•Join HEDSA! - www.hedsa.org
•It is critical that we attract the best and brightest
students to HEDLP
•HEDSA supports the development of a vigorous,
productive and competitive HEDLP program
•Please tell us your thoughts on how HEDSA can help
and what we should be doing?
We need to communicate that
university and small business research
programs are critical
• University research programs are crucial for educating
and training the next generation of scientists for highenergy density physics
• Universities and small businesses have unique
opportunities to explore new ideas and research directions
• The health of University research depends on the
availability of competitive funding opportunities
