Dear Reader,
You are about to embark on a journey through a Multigenre research paper. This is a
research paper which explores a subject in order to extend our thinking. Unlike regular research
papers, a Multigenre research paper is a research paper in which each piece in the paper utilizes a
different genre. I consider a Multigenre research paper to be one of the most remarkable and
unique papers to do when conducting research. This is why I have chosen a Multigenre research
paper. In doing this research paper, I have experienced and explore many different genres and
ideas for expressing my research.
The topic I have chosen for my research paper is “Characters in Relationship to Dracula.”
I chose this topic because it allows me to dig to the depths of the book, Dracula by Bram Stoker,
and explore each main character’s relationship with Count Dracula. In this Multigenre research
paper, I have taken each of the main characters and showed how they are in relationship to
Dracula by using a unique genre. For example, I explained the relationship between Renfield, a
lunatic in the book, with Count Dracula by using an IM conversation. This genre really makes
the conversation unique and puts a contemporary twist on an old piece of literature. I also
created a dialogue between the “Brides” of Dracula and Count Dracula. As you read this genre,
you may be reminded of a similar relationship you have with a family member or friend. By
using a multigenre format, I am able to expand on my thinking and creativity. This adds another
twist to an already excellent research paper.
As you are reading over this letter, I am sure you are pondering whether you will take the
time and actually read the research paper itself. Here’s a first-class decision which you can
make: read the paper! If you have not ever read a Multigenre research paper, then here is your
chance to try something new. As you embark on your journey through this research paper, you
and your emotions will become consumed and you will find yourself not being able to put it
down. Heed this advice, do not miss out on this opportunity to learn and explore new things.
Make the first-class decision.
Sincerely,
Collin Campbell

Mina Harker
Reviewed: Mar. 16, 2006
The Mina Harker was an exceptionally good meal. I found the taste a
little too sweet for my liking, but it was unique. The mixture of flavors
and aromas was a blast for the senses! The only downside I experienced
was this feeling of death as I chewed the food. The feeling was
microscopic to me, yet noticeable and unfamiliar. This feeling eventually
subsided though as I was finishing the meal, which was spectacular. I
would recommend to all to try this recipe, even if you have to go the extra
mile to get the ingredients!

The Count Dracula is a disgrace to the culinary arts! I, for one, tried this
so called “sensational” recipe and found it to be utterly appalling! As I ate
the food, I could not but help to get the feeling of DEATH! The aroma
and flavor of the food said DEATH! Maybe my senses are a little off
from many years of the culinary arts……Who knows???? All I know is I
tasted blood, which must have brought on the dreadful mood of DEATH.
Note to all who are considering this dish: DO NOT!

Review Analysis of Recipes:
Upon reading the recipes, Count Dracula and Mina Harker, and scanning the reviews, I
have come to the conclusion these recipes are fairly opposite. In my opinion, this oppositeness
of the two recipes leads me to the assumption they are distinctively related, due to the saying
“opposites attract.” Maybe my thoughts are rubbish, but there is a connection present between
Count Dracula and Mina Harker, an unbreakable connection of some sorts. It may have to due
with the Count’s blood, which is present in both recipes. This bond between the recipes must
contain some old evil curse, one that can not be broken.

Dear Ms. Lucy Westenra,
By your presence, I have experienced a feeling my soul has not felt in centuries,
love. A feeling my heart has ached for and, in the past, has not received. Now my
heart has drank an insignificant dose of this addicting sensation, and begs for more.
My feelings for you are of the utmost desire, and if you refuse, I will force your love
upon me. Lucy, you are in comparison with blood to me. I need you to survive and
will use all my power to obtain you. The beauty which radiates from your body calls to
me. It makes my desire for you even more commanding. If you do not comply with my
desire, then I shall have no option but to put the curse of the Un-dead upon you. This
will ensure your obeisance to me, so I can have you to myself. I would also like to give
you a fair warning, if you are to choose another man to give your love to rather than
me, then this man will suffer. I rest this decision upon your shoulders, choose wisely.

Count Dracula: Tonight, when the moon is full, you shall have drink.

Count Dracula: Well, lately I have been feeling oddly bothered, and can’t help having this
feeling of defeat looming over me.
Dr. John Seward: So, how do you plan to handle this?
Count Dracula: After much consideration, I have decided it be best for me to return home to my
castle in Transylvania. There, I will be able to regroup myself and plan a devious plot to get rid
of you and your companions.
Dr. John Seward: Oh, I see……Well, I take it that your decision would be the best course of
action to take in your situation. But, there may be complications.
Count Dracula: What do you mean complications?
Dr. John Seward: Well, you will have my companions and I pursuing you the entire journey.
Count Dracula: Wait! Why am I telling you all of this?
Dr. John Seward: Because inside you feel alone and deserted and by coming here, you might be
