And it cuts down on their self-esteem Commonalities in victims of domestic violence They have low self-esteem No confidence Are or become depressed What has been the hardest thing to overcome in your job The hardest thing has been clients relapsing after making a change and seeing a different side of them Returning to a domestic violence relationship after showing progress Advice for someone who knows a victim Listen to the victim Be supportive and available to help Be educated Be aware of the signs of domestic violence and resources be informed of places to go for help have a plan Here is the link to the organization if anyone wants to look more into it. http://www.triumphtx.org/index.html
