Consultant / Business Analyst
Caspian is a leading developer of simulation and analytics products for the Financial Services sector.
We are looking for experienced Consultants / Business Analysts to play leading roles.
Supported by our core team you’ll work closely with key client stakeholders and operational leads to
research, document and analyse their business processes and workflows in preparation for the
development and delivery of our simulation and analytics products.
Key Responsibilities




Systematically research, document and analyse business processes and workflows.
Lead workshops and data collection activities with key stakeholders and operational leads.
Contribute to the translation of client workflows into ground-breaking simulation and analytics
products.
Work in close co-operation with team members including Instructional Designers, Simulation
Technologists and Product Managers in an agile environment.
Requirements








Consultant / BA experience – at least 2 years
Experience in and good knowledge of the Financial Services sector
Excellent analytical skills and proven ability in business process mapping
Must demonstrate a systematic approach to data collection and analysis
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written (English)
Excellent interpersonal skills, the successful candidate must be confident liaising with senior
client stakeholders with the ability to assertively investigate and elicit information from a
variety of senior users in a time-pressured environment
Enthusiastic, flexible “can do” attitude with willingness to learn and adapt
‘Self-starter’ with effective time management skills

Location


Ideally Newcastle based, however location can be flexible for the right persons with 2 days
per week in Newcastle.
Travel as required, including international.
Salary

£45-60k subject to level of experience
