Students will be able to master the traditional five-paragraph essay and its variations to learning about the finer points of grammar and punctuation. Course Objective English Composition I course will help you develop the quality writing skills necessary for success in college and in your future career. Step-by-step, you’ll study the writing process and different writing formats: compare/contrast, argumentative, persuasive, narrative, descriptive and summary. You’ll see how to write essays and employ proper research techniques, how to evaluate different literary forms, and how to avoid plagiarizing.
