What is a covenant within a congregation? - When we choose to participate in
the life and work of a congregation, we enter into a covenant. To Covenant is to
enter into a relationship that is mutual, equal, trusting, open, negotiating, sharing,
and grace-filled. When we make a covenant with one another, we make a
commitment to have faith and trust in one another and to interpret one another’s
behavior with understanding, honesty, and compassion. Covenanting means that
the parties are bound together in a special way, with a particular understanding
between them.
Join us weekdays @ 11:15a.m. for prayer.
