• Address of the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan

accomplished state" dated 14th of December, 2012:

"It is important to concentrate our efforts on operating outside of
the national borders to create economic transport and logistics
infrastructure outside of Kazakhstan, carefully calculating the benefits.
We must reach beyond existing notions and create joint enterprises in
the region and worldwide — Europe, Asia, America — such as, for
example, ports in coastal countries, transportation and logistics hubs in
transit points across the world, and so forth.

"We must develop our transit potential. We need to achieve a twofold increase in transit traffic through Kazakhstan by the year 2020, and
a 10-fold increase by 2050".
