(AYPA)
14th, September 2015 is the seminar of association of young public administration or AYPA which
is held in Multi-media 1. This seminars conducted for the students of Public Administration having
a purpose of self-integrity, leadership and to establish the relationship of society to future public
administration. The inspirational message was acquainted by Professor Eliza S. Diaz. She
addressed
the
audience about the
significance of the
said
seminar
to
enlighten them that
leadership
must
happen first within
ourselves before we
can influence other

Calalo commonly
referred and known by his friends as “Ding Calalo” was born on December 4, 1979 at P. Burgos
St. Batangas City. He was the second siblings of three of Mr. Virgilio and Mrs. Aurea Calalo and
residing at A Delas Alas Drive, Batangas City. He had undergone his elementary and secondary
education at Saint Bridget College wherein he became an officer I the Preparatory Military
Training during his 4th year. He initially took
Bachelor
of
Arts
in
Developmental
Communication at Batangas State University
(BSU) formerly Pablo Borbon Memorial
Institute of technology for on (1) year and
shifted to Bachelor of Industrial Technology
Major in Mechanical Engineering Technology.
In college, he was four (4) times elected as
Class President and also became President of
Association of Industrial Technology Students
(AITS) and Supreme Student Assembly (SSA)
for two consecutive years. He was twice a
recipient as the Most Outstanding President
for both Main and Alangilan Campuses and a
Leadership Award for his invaluable contributions in both academic and non-academic programs
of the school.
On July 3, 2006, he
successfully entered the
PNP service. He landed nr 5
at PSBRC Echo Class of
2006-2.
He
was
also
assigned at Regional Mobile
Group 4A from August 2007
to September 2008 and
from September 2008 to
June
2010
transferred
he

Municipal Police Station as Operation PNCO. From June 2010 up to present, he was connected at
Batangas City Police Station. He was assigned as member of Operation Section of BCPS and
designated as IT/Firearms Desk PNCO of the station mid-year of 2012 up to present. During the
period of July 2012 to June 2013, his accomplishment in OPLAN KATOK/House to House Visitation
of the higher headquarters marked Batangas City Police Station to be number one (1) in the
province on accounting of surrendered firearms. Batangas City also topped the number of Fas
holder in the province compared to other Cities of this province with more or less 4,000 expired
Fas holder. In addition to this, PO3 Calalo has arrested five suspects (5) for (1) Akyat-Bahay; (1
)Violation of RA 7138 (An Act Regulating the Sale, Manufacture, Distribution and Use of
Firecrackers and Other Pyrotechnic Devices); and (3) Violation of RA 8294 (Firearms Law) under
COMELEC Gun Ban with cases filed in court.
During the 114th police service of the PNP held at Batangas Police Provincial Office, Camp Miguel
Malvar, Kumintang Ilaya, Batangas City and he was awarded as the Police Non-Commissioned
Officer of the Year(PNCO of the Year) of Batangas Province. Said award was given by Hon. Vilma
Santos Recto. Governor Batangas Province.
At present, PO3 Osmundo Anonuevo Calalo is the section Chief of Information Technology
(IT), Quantum Geographical Information System (QGIS), City Police Strategy Management Unit
(CPMSU), LAMBAT-SIBAT and the Firearms Desk Police Non-Commission Officer. A good son,
loving husband, disciplined father and a dedicated policeman in every work and task assigned to
him in the PNP service.
After the informative speech of PO3 Calalo , to show everyone’s appreciation. The
awarding of certificates and a tokens was made by the Dept. Chair of Business and Public
Aministration-Ms. Teodorica G. Ani; Assoc. Dean of CABEIHM-Asst. Prof. Bendalyn M. Landicho
and Dean of CABEIHM-Dr. Elisa S. Diaz.
