Who Uses Verifiers & Certifiers
• Verifiers – Anyone who installs
cabling should be using one to verify
minimum level of wiring acceptance.
– Verifiers are like a Multimeter to an
electrician, its foolish to guess when a
cheap tester can prove connectivity.
• Certifiers – Large “corporate” level
jobs where consultants and system
integrators are using system
warranties as a way to get business
and block out the small installers.
– Certifiers are a means to end in many
cases. If not purely used to get warranty
approval, they are used as a reassurance
to prevent no-charge callbacks.
