The Vision – UNLEASHING our Specialist services in Europe
The Insert House is the largest volume booker of inserts in the UK – circa 2.2 Billion items
including print and media, a market dominance that accounts for 1 in every 4 inserts booked.
Since 2012 we have been expanding our successful model to new countries and territories –
Creating a ‘local facing’ service – with the back up/resource and strategy from the engine room
that is the UK team.
Germany, Ireland and Gibraltar have launched – we already have active clients spending euros,
we have major distribution deals in place and a listening ear from clients...
The sales driven strategic thinker
We are looking for a special person with huge ambition and potential...The potential to build and
front a stand-alone agency brand and offering within Germany (with our direction/training).
Key traits – proactive, high energy levels, sales grit, determined, independent, huge learning
capacity (LOTS of market leading services will be thrown at you) commercial acumen - quick with
numbers, analytical, strategic thinking – all underpinned by a confident (not arrogant) and
likeable approach.
You will receive regular local support from the UK Directors, will travel (initially) to London HQ
for training plus attend regular Territory Director meetings across Europe – this will fast track you
to learn our unique brand of media planning/buying excellence. It is our intention to grow this
business rapidly and become, very quickly, the most significant company within the French
inserts market.
Core job description
 Develop Omnicom (our agency partner) relationship 
 Account manage clients and implement key insert planning/buying campaigns 
 Maintain and build new relationships with suppliers 
 Identify, pitch and win new clients 
 Identify, pitch and win new contracted distributions (sales arm of The Insert House – to be
briefedfurther) 
 Develop knowledge and commercial opportunities within our CORE Paper and Ink services
(Inserts, Door Drop, Print, Direct Mail, Press, Data performance) 
 Understand the broader strategy and introduce where relevant additional UK services (Digital,
Mobile, TV etc)
 Build on management skills and “bigger picture” (forecasting/strategic) thinking 
 Build Specialised team (mid-term) of Execs in new business, account management and
planning/buying 
Where you might come from:
Account Director/Head of Media level at agency/media owner looking for challenge of new
launch and better long term rewards based on personal performance (winning/growing clients).
Ad Manager/Sales Director at Media-owner – with a strong understanding of marketing/direct
marketing and proven new business skills.
Marketing Director/Territory Manager/SME Business Owner, client – You know the strategy –
