GRADING:
1.
Entrance/Exit slips are a way for students to write and provide information about
class, or the topic under discussion, or a specific teaching strategy/material being
used. Please pick-up an entrance slip prior to the start of class. Your entrance slip must
be done in the first few minutes at the beginning of class. In contrast, your exit slip mist
be completed during the last few minutes of the bell work.
Why use exit slips?
 They provide the teacher with an informal measure of how well students have
understood a topic or lesson.
 They help students reflect on what they have learned.
 They allow students to express what or how they are thinking about new
information.
 They teach students to think critically.
Below is the rubric that will be used to evaluate your
entrance/entry ticket.
