The Leader in Me!
At Wilderness Oak, we are
continuing to embrace the
Leader In Me program. The
idea is to grow great leaders.
The students will practice
the 7 Habits of Happy Kids
and take ownership of their
classroom responsibilities to
demonstrate their leadership
qualities.
7 Habits of Happy Kids
The 7 Habits
The students will learn about
the 7 habits and use them to
become great leaders. At the
end of the day, students will
reflect the positive behavior
they displayed (+) and something
about their behavior (∆) they
would like to change.

Greenback Night
• Greenback night is our school-wide fundraiser for the
year and is a donation to the school. We will not sell
cookie dough, wrapping paper, or participate in the Apex
Fun Run.
• Our goal is to raise $10,000 to update our playgrounds
and create a beautiful outdoor space.
• There are incremental goals, but if we reach or exceed
our final goal of $10,000, the students will banish the
principal to the roof for an entire day, and each class
will be allowed to “bend” a school rule for the day.
• If each family contributes $16 per child, we will reach
our goal!
• Greenback donations will be happily accepted until
October 1, 2015.
Thanks for being here!
• I am looking forward to an amazing year
with you and your child!
• Student-Led conferences will be
November 3 & 4. We will send out time
requests closer to the date to be signed
up online.
