Activity

:

Circle Sounds

Students will be given a number of either 1,2, or 3. They will then be instructed to form a circle, and listen for words that rhyme with their number. When they hear a rhyming word, they will complete one run around the circle.

Activity One will be instructed by: Nikki Knight Activity: “Which Corner”

The teacher will pick one student to be the leader. They will then be instructed to keep their eyes closed and count down from 10 to 1. While they do this the remaining students are instructed to run to 1 of four corners that will be marked by construction paper. When the leader gets to one he or she will guess which corner has the most students. After this a new leader will be chosen and the game will continue.

Cool Down Activity will be instructed by :Megan Painter Activity: High Low Jackpot

During this activity a number between 1 and 100 will be written on a piece of paper. One of the students will be chosen to guess the number. If that student

Fall 2011 needs to guess lower the remaining students will move into a push-up position and remain there until the next guess is made. If the student needs to guess higher, the remaining students will begin jumping and jumps until the next guess is made. http://debbiedespirt.suite101.com/kindergarten-physical-education-a30608 *Technology enrichment (Select a
