Transition Considerations
• Boys seeking Tiger, Wolf, Bear, and Webelos ranks
beginning June 1, 2015: Use new program
• Boys joining Cub Scouts after May 31, 2015, may earn
Arrow of Light rank using new requirements—no
requirement to earn Webelos rank first
• LDS (The Church of Jesus Chris of Latter-Day Saints) transition considerations

Joining Cub Scouts in Fifth Grade
Boys joining Cub Scouts after May 31, 2015,
and meeting the qualifications to join
an Arrow of Light den
Shall utilize the new program requirements and handbook
May substitute any of the new program’s Webelos–required
adventures for the three required Arrow of Light electives

•Current program – active until May 31, 2015
 All advancement until that date will use the current materials
•Updated program – active on June 1, 2015
