Lyrics for Songs 1 & 2

Everyone needs compassion
Love that’s never failing
Let mercy fall on me
Everyone needs forgiveness
The kindness of a Savior
The hope of nations
Savior
He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever
Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
So take me as You find me
All my fears and failures
Fill my life again
I give my life to follow
Everything I believe in
Now I surrender
Savior
He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever
Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
Shine Your light
And let the whole world see
We’re singing
For the glory of the risen King
Jesus, Shine Your light
And let the whole world see
for the glory of the risen King
Savior
He can move the mountains
My God is mighty to save
He is mighty to save
Forever
Author of salvation
He rose and conquered the grave
Jesus conquered the grave
May our homes be filled with dancing
May our streets be filled with joy
May injustice bow to Jesus
As the people turn and pray
From the mountain to the valley
Hear our praises rise to You
From the heavens to the nations
Hear our singing fill the air
May our light shine in the darkness
As we walk before the cross
May Your glory fill the whole earth
As the water over the seas
From the mountain to the valley
Hear our praises rise to You
From the heavens to the nations
Hear our singing fill the air
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
Hallelujah
From the mountain to the valley
Hear our praises rise to You
From the heavens to the nations
Hear our singing fill the air
Purpose – to reflect the faithful corporate prayer of the Spirit-filled
church in bringing others to faith in Christ
The promise: Acts 1:8 But you will receive power when the Holy
Spirit comes on you; and you will be My witnesses in Jerusalem,
and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.“
The catalyst: Acts 2:4 All of them were filled with the Holy Spirit
and began to speak in other tongues as the Spirit enabled them.
The dedicated: Acts 2:42 They devoted themselves to the apostles’
teaching and to the fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to
prayer.
The result: Acts 2:46-47 Every day they continued to meet
together in the temple courts. They broke bread in their homes
and ate together with glad and sincere hearts, 47praising God and
enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord added to their
number daily those who were being saved.
For Thou, O Lord
Art high above all the earth
Thou art exalted far above all gods
I exalt Thee
I exalt Thee
I exalt Thee
O Lord
For Thou, O Lord
Art high above all the earth
Thou art exalted far above all gods
I exalt Thee
I exalt Thee
I exalt Thee
O Lord
1 God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.
2 Therefore we will not fear, though the earth
give way
and the mountains fall into the heart of the
sea,
3 though its waters roar and foam
and the mountains quake with their surging.
Selah
4 There is a river whose streams make glad the city of
God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.
5 God is within her, she will not fall;
God will help her at break of day.
6 Nations are in uproar, kingdoms fall;
he lifts his voice, the earth melts.
7 The LORD Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Selah
8 Come and see the works of the LORD,
the desolations He has brought on the earth.
9 He makes wars cease to the ends of the earth;
He breaks the bow and shatters the spear,
He burns the shields with fire.
10 “Be still, and know that I am God;
I will be exalted among the nations,
I will be exalted in the earth.”
11The LORD Almighty is with us;
the God of Jacob is our fortress.
Selah
Who has a claim against Me that I must pay?
Everything under heaven belongs to Me.
—Job 41:11
25
In the beginning You laid the foundations of the
earth,
and the heavens are the work of Your hands.
26 They will perish, but You remain;
they will all wear out like a garment.
Like clothing You will change them
and they will be discarded.
27 But You remain the same,
and Your years will never end.
—Psalm 102:25-27
“I tell you the truth,” Jesus answered, “before
Abraham was born, I am!”
—John8:58
But will God really dwell on earth? The heavens,
even the highest heaven, cannot contain You.
How much less this temple I have built!
—1 Kings 8:27
God is spirit, and His worshipers must worship
in spirit and in truth.
—John 4:24
Now to the King eternal, immortal, invisible, the
only God, be honor and glory for ever and ever.
Amen.
—1 Timothy 1:17
19This
then is how we know that we belong to
the Truth, and how we set our hearts at rest in
His presence 20whenever our hearts condemn
us. For God is greater than our hearts, and he
knows everything.
—1 John 3:19-20
Oh, how great are God’s riches and wisdom and
knowledge! How impossible it is for us to
understand His decisions and His ways!
—Romans 11:33
But the LORD is the true God;
He is the living God, the eternal King.
When He is angry, the earth trembles;
the nations cannot endure His wrath.
— Jeremiah 10:10
For the LORD is good and His love endures
forever;
His faithfulness continues through all
generations.
— Psalm 100:5
Father, I want those You have given Me to be
with Me where I am, and to see My glory, the
glory You have given Me because You loved Me
before the creation of the world.

Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the
God of all comfort…

Jesus Christ, the Father of compassion and the
God of all comfort… — 2 Corinthians 1:3
And if by grace, then it is no longer by works; if
it were, grace would no longer be grace. —

Moses, “and they are a stiff-necked people. 10
Now leave me alone so that my anger may burn

I will make you into a great nation.”

—Exodus 32:9-10
1As
for you, you were dead in your transgressions and sins, 2in
which you used to live when you followed the ways of this world and
of the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the spirit who is now at work
in those who are disobedient. 3All of us also lived among them at
one time, gratifying the cravings of our sinful nature and following
its desires and thoughts. Like the rest, we were by nature objects of
wrath. 4But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in
mercy, 5made us alive with Christ even when we were dead in
transgressions—it is by grace you have been saved. 6And God raised
us up with Christ and seated us with Him in the heavenly realms in
Christ Jesus, 7in order that in the coming ages He might show the
incomparable riches of his grace, expressed in His kindness to us in
Christ Jesus. 8For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—
and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God— 9not by works,
so that no one can boast. 10For we are God’s workmanship, created
in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance
for us to do.

9For
this reason, since the day we heard about you,
we have not stopped praying for you and asking
God to fill you with the knowledge of His will
through all spiritual wisdom and understanding.
10And we pray this in order that you may live a life
worthy of the Lord and may please Him in every
way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in
the knowledge of God, 11being strengthened with
all power according to His glorious might so that
you may have great endurance and patience, and
joyfully 12giving thanks to the Father, who has
qualified you to share in the inheritance of the
saints in the kingdom of light.

You said, “Ask and you will receive whatever
you need”
You said, “Pray and I'll hear from Heaven,
And I’ll heal your land”
You said Your glory will fill the earth
Like water the sea
You said, “Lift up your eyes
The harvest is here, the kingdom is near”
You said, “Ask and I’ll give the nations to you”
O Lord, that’s the cry of my heart
Distant shores and the islands will see
Your light as it rises on us
