The following problems represent a sample of topics that should be known and understood. The exam
will cover the sections that were done in class from Chapters 1 through 4.5. All relevant flash card
material is also testable on the final exam. You are expected to know and be able to apply the flash card
information and concepts to similar situations. The exam will consist of 70 multiple choice questions
with no free response questions. You will not be permitted to use a calculator on any portion of the
exam.
Disclaimer: While every reasonable attempt has been made to include topics on this list that are covered
on the exam, the inclusion of a topic or problem type does not imply that type of question will be on the
exam, nor does the exclusion of a particular topic or problem type prevent it from being on the exam.
Reviewing Tips
You should review your flashcards as well as previous exams and quizzes. The review problems listed
separately will help to prepare you for the types of questions that you will see on the exam. Keep in
mind that questions that are like the flash card material will not be found in your text book.
