Your worldview is your basic belief system.
Your worldview is the position you take regarding the
answers to the major questions in life such as:
Does God exist and is He Good?
What can be known for sure?
Who am I; why am I here; where am I going?
What do I value; what is important to me?
Is there purpose and direction to life?

Words Have Meaning
• Do our words still have meaning in our postmodern
deconstructionistic culture? (What does “is” mean?)
• If words have no meaning, then the Bible has no
meaning.
• If the Bible has no meaning then let’s eat, drink, and
be merry for tomorrow we die.
• Four frequently heard statements:
– No absolutes
– No right or wrong
– Everything is relative
– Who’s to say?
FIRST
There is a lot of nonsense expressed in
the worldviews of Satan’s world
system. Some of this nonsense is
expressed in the four “forbidden”
sentences that we frequently hear
on university campuses.
FOUR FORBIDDEN SENTENCES!
• THERE IS NO RIGHT OR WRONG!
• The major assumption behind this
sentence is that the person saying it is
claiming he or she is right in saying that
there is no right or wrong! We have a
statement that negates itself.
FOUR FORBIDDEN SENTENCES!
• THERE ARE NO ABSOLUTES!
• This sentence is intended to be an
absolute statement. If there are no
absolutes, then this sentence is not
absolute and it negates itself and
means nothing!
FOUR FORBIDDEN SENTENCES!
• WHO’S TO SAY?
• This sentence intends to silence someone
who is taking a position. In other words, “You
have no right to say that!” This negates itself,
if no one has a right to take a position, then
no one has a right to say “Who’s to say?”
because that is taking a position!
FOUR FORBIDDEN SENTENCES!
• EVERYTHING IS RELATIVE!
• The authorial intent of this sentence is
that it is an absolute statement. If
everything is relative, then this sentence
is part of everything and is itself
relative. Then it negates itself.

• Hebrew poetic form is “subject, verb, object.”
• Hebrew narrative form is “verb, subj., object.”
• The early chapters of Genesis are in the Hebrew
grammatical and syntactical form of “verb-subjectobject! WHICH IS NARRATIVE!”
• Genesis is emphatically not poetry!!!
• Genesis is Hebrew historical narrative and intended
to be taken literally=beast is beast, water is water,
bird is bird, light is light, fowl is fowl, plant is plant,
etc..
The foundation and doctrines of the Bible are
built on the early chapters of Genesis.
The early chapters of Genesis teach the true
history of the beginning of everything.
Once we believe the lie of the Prince of this
world, Satan, that Genesis can’t be taken
literally, and that we are the result of millions
of years of evolutionary processes, the
foundation of the Christian Faith begins to
crumble.

Our troubles began at the “Fall” of Adam.
• God’s “creation order” = God is above all and the
man, Adam, is in submission to God.
• The woman, Eve, is in submission to her husband.
• The animal kingdom is in submission to mankind.
• This “Creation Order” when obeyed makes things
work best for us and the planet.
• At the “Fall” the Creation Order got flip-flopped.
• The animal (serpent) took dominion and the
woman (Eve) submitted to the animal (ate fruit).
• The man (Adam) then submitted to the woman, his
wife, and ate the fruit.
• This arrangement puts God at the bottom and
animals on the top and animals became more
important than people, women rule, and men went
passive in their spiritual leadership. (see Genesis 3:6
and 3:16)
SATAN’S DECEPTION
• If evolution is true then Jesus is not the Creator.
• If Jesus is not the Creator then He does not have
the authority and right to be the Savior.
• If Jesus is not the Savior, then the Bible is not true.
• If the Bible is not true, then let us eat, drink and be
merry for tomorrow we die.
• If tomorrow we die, then all we have is the “lust of
the flesh, the lust of the eyes and the pride of
life…which is of the world.” 1 John 2:16
SATAN’S DECEPTION
• Replace Biblical Creation with worldviews that
teach millions of years and evolution, and, next, it is
easy to get God out. (Evolution = we can be here via
evolution with no need for God.)
• When evolution is in and Creator Lord Jesus is out,
the world, the flesh and the devil rule and Satan’s
deception is complete, in all its rebellion.
• The rebellion begins in the home: Pride and
selfishness rule (example: husbands don’t lead,
children know better than parents how to run
their lives, etc.).
POSTMODERNISM
An Example
POSTMODERNISTS CLAIM:
• There are no “truths” which apply to all of us.
• There are no absolute moral standards.
• There are no absolute ethical concerns.
• There is no God.
• There are personal opinions.
• There are personal perspectives.
• See the writings of Nietzsche, Derrida, Lyotard,
Ricouer, Foucault, Rorty, Baudrillard, etc.
• Most Postmodernist thinkers are/were disillusioned
Atheist Evolutionist Marxists.
MARXISTS AND POSTMODERNISTS ARE ATHEISTS.
“Atheism is the theological belief that there is no God,
no supernatural Creator, no Divine moral law giver,
and no ultimate Judge of man’s actions. It is the
theological backbone of not only Secular Humanism
and Marxism, but it is also the predominant
theological view of classical Postmodernism”
(David Noebel, Understanding the Times, p. 77).
POSTMODERNIST
RICHARD RORTY:

ROMANS 1:19-22
19 Because that which may be known of God is
manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto
them. 20 For the invisible things of him from the
creation of the world are clearly seen, being
understood by the things that are made, even his
eternal power and Godhead; so that they are
without excuse: 21 Because that, when they knew
God, they glorified him not as God, neither were
thankful; but became vain in their imaginations,
and their foolish heart was darkened. 22 Professing
themselves to be wise, they became fools, …
• Disillusioned Marxists became PostModernists and
now gain strength through Multiculturalism and its
stepchild, Political Correctness “PC”, which is rightly
labeled, “Cultural Marxism”.
• Marx and Lenin taught that, given the chance,
European workers would overthrow capitalist
governments and replace them with communism.
• But after the Russian revolution of 1917 the
Western European workers did not support the
Communist revolution or ideas.
• Why not?
• Christianity and its moral and ethical absolutes was
the roadblock to the expansion of Marxism.
• This roadblock was noticed by two Marxist theorists
in 1919: Italian, Antonio Gramsci and Hungarian,
Georg Lukacs.
• These two men decided that the spread of
Communism could only be accomplished if Western
Christian culture was destroyed.
• So Lukacs introduced sex education into the public
schools of Hungary,1919, believing that if children
knew more about sex their lust for it would
overpower their Christian morals!
• So Gramsci and Lukacs laid the groundwork to
change communism from economic terms
(ownership of private property is evil) into cultural
terms. (tolerance, sex-ed, drug-ed, the need for
social and cultural change, etc.)
• Then in 1923 at Frankfurt University in Germany the
Institute for Social Research was established=The
Frankfurt School.
• The Frankfurt School moved to New York City in
1933 when Hitler came to power.
• Theorists like Wilhelm Reich, Eric Fromm, Max
Horkheimer, Herbert Marcuse, etc.
• The Frankfurt School invented “Critical Theory”
which had the goal of demonizing all traditional
institutions such as family, fatherhood, patriotism,
women as mothers, Bible-believing churches, etc.
• The Frankfurt School published Studies in Prejudice
which taught that anyone who believes in
traditional Western Christian culture is prejudiced, a
“racist” or “sexist” or “fascist” or is mentally
unstable.
• Mixing Freud with Marx, they perfected the
technique of psychological conditioning—thus, for
example, TV=homosexuality=normal.
• TV=Christians are crazy, intolerant , bigoted fools.
• Herbert Marcuse, working with Hollywood friends,
became a leading “evangelist” of Cultural Marxism
(Political Correctness) especially on the university
campuses of USA.
• “In his book Eros and Civilization, he argued that by
freeing sex from any restraints, we could elevate the
pleasure principle over the reality principle and
create a society with no work, only play (Marcuse
coined the phrase, “Make love, not war”). Marcuse
also argued for what he called “liberating
tolerance,” which he defined as tolerance for all
ideas coming from the “Left” and intolerance for
any ideas coming from the “Right.”
• In the late 1960’s Marcuse became the chief “guru”
of the New Left, and he injected the cultural
Marxism of the Frankfurt School into the baby
boom generation, to the point where it is now
America’s state ideology.
• The next conservatism should unmask Multiculturalism and Political Correctness and tell the
American people what they really are: “Cultural
Marxism”. Its goal remains that Lukacs and Gramsci
set in 1919: destroying Western culture and the

Global warming is a “PC” political strategy of Socialists.
Strategy: Create a life-threatening global crisis such as
global warming.
Advertise the crisis repeatedly. (Gore in schools, TWC.)
Gain a critical mass of people. (using media, PC)
Pass laws that restrict industry and freedom.
Increase central government control and increase taxes.
Confiscate private property.
Abolish the free-market economic system.
Establish a two class civilization:
The Elites
And everyone else (slaves with no rights?).
A JUDGE IN A SOCIALIST COUNTRY:
• The edict: Every school student in Britain is required
to be taught several “untruths” about Al Gore’s An
Inconvenient Truth movie before the teacher is
permitted to show it.
– Info about Mt. Kilimanjaro untrue
– Info about seas rising untrue
– Global warming produced hurricane Katrina untrue
– Global warming destroying the Gulf Stream untrue
– Global warming is causing reef extinction untrue
– Global warming is causing species extinction untrue.
A bit of history regarding the silencing
of views opposed to the “Left.”
• Since about 1919 Marxists have been silencing any
opposition to socialist ideas and propaganda.
• Under Joseph Stalin’s rule the opposition was
imprisoned, put in psychiatric hospitals or shot.
• The same in Castro’s Cuba and T-Square in China.
• The media (TV, radio, newspapers, magazines) are
only permitted to represent one view (Socialism).
• Any movement away from the elitist government
position was met with instant and severe judgment.

• The law of the Lord is perfect, converting the
soul; the testimony of the Lord is sure, making

GENESIS 2:15
• “And the Lord God took the man, and put
him into the garden of Eden to dress it and to
keep it.” (KJV)
• “Then the Lord God took the man and put
him into the garden of Eden to cultivate it
and keep it.” (NASB)
• God ordained work for Adam before sin
entered the Garden of Eden at the Fall .
2 THESSALONIANS 3:10-12
• “For even when we were with you, this we
commanded you, that if any would not work,
neither should he eat. For we hear that there
are some which walk among you disorderly,
working not at all, but are busybodies. Now
them that are such we command…they work
and eat their own bread.”
THE BIBLE AND PRIVATE PROPERTY
• THOU SHALT NOT STEAL! In the 10
Commandments (Exodus 20:15) God gives His
okay to private property.
• Why would God say “Thou shalt not steal” if
no one owned anything that could be stolen?
• Private property can be stolen!
EXODUS 20:17
• “Thou shalt not covet thy neighbor’s house,…
nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor
his ox, nor his donkey, nor anything that is
thy neighbor’s.”
• In this commandment God endorses
ownership of private property.
• The neighbor has things that belong to him
and him alone. (Notice: Possessives)
EPHESIANS 4:28
• Let him that stole steal no more:
but rather let him labour
working with his hands the thing
which is good, that he may have
to give to him that needeth.
2 SAMUEL 24:24
• “And the king said unto Araunah, Nay; but I
will surely buy it of thee at a price: neither
will I offer burnt offerings unto the Lord my
God of that which doth cost me nothing. So
David bought the threshing floor and the
oxen for fifty shekels of silver.”
• David bought and owned this property!
PROVERBS 24:27
• “Prepare thy work without, and make it fit
for thyself in the field; and afterwards build
thine house.”
• It is not unbiblical to work hard and to build a
house and to own it.
• To Abram: “I am the Lord that brought thee
out of Ur of the Chaldees, to give thee this
land to inherit.” Genesis 15:7
THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT: LAND, SEED,
BLESSING
• Land: The Palestinian Covenant (Deut. 28-30)
amplifies the land aspect of Cov.
• Seed: The Davidic Covenant (2 Sam. 7:8-17)
amplifies the seed aspect of the Cov.
• Blessing: The New Covenant (Jer. 31:27-37;
Ezek. 36:22-32) amplifies the blessings aspect
of the Abrahamic Cov.
THE ABRAHAMIC COVENANT: LAND
• Deuteronomy 28:11
• And the Lord shall make thee plenteous in
goods, in the fruit of thy body, and in the
fruit of thy cattle, and in the fruit of thy
ground, in the land which the Lord sware
unto thy fathers to give thee.
• God says ownership of goods, cattle and land
is OK.
ECONOMICS IN THREE VARIETIES
• Capitalist Economy: Free market and private
property, voluntary philanthropy
• Interventionist Economy: Limited Free Market,
private property but heavy taxation and tariffs,
voluntary and involuntary philanthropy.
• Socialist Economy: Abolition of private property,
coerced philanthropy, confiscatory taxation.
ABOLITION OF PRIVATE PROPERTY
• Karl Max believed that ownership of private
property was the source of all evil.
• Because he believed in the inherent
goodness of man, when no one owned
anything there would be no greed and
mankind would live in peaceful coexistence.
KARL MARX: THE COMMUNIST
MANIFESTO:
• “You are horrified at our intending to do
away with private property. But in your
existing society, private property is already
done away with for nine-tenths of the
population; its existence for the few is solely
due to its nonexistence in the hands of those
nine-tenths. (Collected Works, NY:Internat’l
Pubs., 1976, vol. 6, p. 500).
SOME PEOPLE SAY THERE IS COMMUNISM
IN THE BOOK OF ACTS IN THE BIBLE
• Acts 2:44,45: “And all that believed were
together, and had all things common; and
sold their possessions and goods, and parted
them to all men as every man had need.”
(KJV)
• “And they began selling their property and
possessions, and were sharing them with all
as anyone might have need.” (NASB)
ACTS 2:44, 45
• Some of the Jerusalem believers in the Lord
Jesus began a community effort and came
together to help each other.
• This coming together was voluntary!!
• They sold possessions and goods as people had
needs. (NO GUN TO THE HEAD)
• The Scripture does not say they all sold all
their possessions and goods. (Jerusalem)
ACTS 2:44, 45
• This Scripture passage does not say that
these early Christians had some sort of
common fund by which they all pooled their
resources, although this has been assumed
from the statement “had all things common”
and “laid their money at the apostle’s feet”
• What they actually did is more clearly stated
in Acts 4:32.

• “And the multitude of them that believed were
of one heart and of one soul: neither said any
of them that ought of the things which he
possessed was his own; but they had all things
common.”

• “…not one of them claimed that anything
belonging to him was his own; but all things
were common property to them.”

Commentary by Prof. Robert McBurney:
• “Here we have a declaration indicating that
the common effort was not a legal pooling of
resources in a communal fund but rather a
feeling of unity in dealing with common
problems so that no man ‘said’ his
possessions were his own but developed and
used them…to fill the needs of the group as
well as himself.”
THE JERUSALEM CHRISTIANS
A REASON FOR THE COMMUNAL ATTITUDE IN
JERUSALEM:
Matt 24:2: “And Jesus said unto them, See ye
not all these things? verily I say unto you,
There shall not be left here one stone upon
another, that shall not be thrown down.”
“Sell it all, destruction is coming to us!!!!
ACTS 5:1-11: ANANIAS AND SAPPHIRA
• They decided to sell a piece of property that
they owned.
• Scripture does not say they sold everything
• They decided to keep some of the money.
• They gave what was left to Peter, but apparently led him to believe that it was the
total profit. They lied=not good, not smart
PETER TEACHES BIBLICAL ECONOMICS
ACTS 5:4:
• Peter to Ananias: “While it remained, was it not
thine own? And after it was sold, was it not in
thine own power? Why hast thou conceived this
thing in thine heart? Thou hast not lied unto
men, but unto God. (KJV)
• “While it remained unsold, did it not remain
your own? And after it was sold, was it not
under your control? (NASB)
PETER TEACHES BIBLICAL ECONOMICS
ACTS 5:4:
• Peter teaches that the property of Ananias
and Sapphira belonged to them.
• Their property was not required for some
sort of communal fund.
• To keep or sell their property was their own
private business.
• The property money was theirs to control.

• The property money could be kept, spent or
contributed to the common good.
• If Ananias and Sapphira decided to give the
money to the church it was a free-will,
voluntary offering, no coercion.
• Under communism: possessions are confiscated or expropriated and given to others
by the dictator or committee.
DUMMELOW’S BIBLE COMMENTARY:
• “The church of Jerusalem recognized the
principle of private property. A disciple’s
property really was his own, but he did not
say it was his own; he treated it as if it were
common property.”
• Many early Christians kept title to their
property but “said” it was for the benefit of
all. You need a donkey? Use mine!

• “If there had been a community of goods
in the church, there could have been no
ground for (collections)… as there could
have been no such distinction as rich and
poor, if everyone, on entering the Church

place or way He calls you---you can pick up and go!
SOMEONE HAS SAID:

•“Save all you can!”
•“Give all you can!”
EARN, SAVE, GIVE ALL YOU CAN
• This is only possible in a “Free Market-Capitalistic
economic system.” (Biblical)
• A Socialistic system establishes minimum and
maximum wages.
• Minimum wages put people out of work and on
welfare. When a company is forced by law to
increase its minimum wage it must increase its
prices. Increased prices mean decreased demand.
Decreased demand means less profit. Less profit
means fewer jobs + more people on welfare.
• Less jobs means more people on welfare.
• More people on welfare (government welfare,
entitlements, food stamps, low interest loans.
Government handouts, Etc.) means less
independence.
• More dependence on government means more
votes for the socialist politicians.
• As minimum wage is increased, entry level jobs are
abolished since store owners cannot raise prices
enough to pay the increased rates of salaries.
(People will only pay so much for a McDonald’s f.fry)
SUMMARY
• Increased minimum wage decreases entry level job
opportunities and puts people out of work.
• People out of work apply for government help.
• Once most people are on government help the
incentive to get a job is lost and they will vote for
the politician who promises them the most money.
• A political strategy of the socialist politician is to get
people on government welfare of various types to
insure votes. Socialism increases poverty!
RENT CONTROLS
• A socialistic government imposes maximum fees a
property owner can charge clients.
• Low rent is supposed to help the poor.
• But Government controlled rent forces property
owners to sell apartments as condominiums
(therefore less apartments available), or
maintenance is sacrificed and a slum is generated.
LAND CONTROLS
A socialistic government attempts to control all land
resources.
Farmers are told what crops to grow and how much
land to use or not to use.
Land owners are restricted in the use of their
property because of “wet-lands” designation or a
protected animal or fish lives on the property.
Factory owners must clean up or shut down because
of “greenhouse gas” production.
GLOBAL WARMING
• Global Warming is a political hoax promoted by
socialists to fracture a capitalistic economy.
• Human-generated global warming has been proven
over and over by the most qualified environmental
scientists to not be a concern.
• USA has the cleanest factories on earth.
• The countries that produce the most greenhouse
gasses (Ex. China) are exempt from the Kyoto
protocols.
• Global Warming goal: Bankrupt Western Capitalism!
BIBLICAL ECONOMICS
• Ownership of private property.
• Good stewardship of private property.
• Free market with good stewardship creates
wealth as well as opportunities for economic
advantages for others.
• McDonald’s, Wendy’s, etc. not only provide
entry level jobs for the unskilled, but a cheap
outing for Dad, Mom and the kids.
BIBLICAL ECONOMICS
• “Further, the competition in a free market
works according to the principle of
comparative advantage, which affirms the
inherent worth of every individual.” (Dr.
David Noebel, Understanding the Times, p.
714.)
• “Capitalism is also more socially just than
Socialism. While the socialist calls
for economic equality, Capitalism respects the
Biblical requirement of equality before
the law. This does not, as the socialist
contends, cause the rich to get richer and the
poor poorer. Rather, it encourages the rich to
create more wealth, thereby aiding all of
society. The policies of redistribution,
including welfare systems, only multiply the
problems for the poor--creating needless
bureaucracies and con-
centrating too much power in the hands of the
government. Conversely, Capitalism encourages freedom in the political sphere. This
removes the danger of granting sovereignty
to the state instead of to God. In practice,
capitalism proves the only workable system.
Socialism leads to oppression, while
capitalism offers unparalleled freedom and
economic opportunity.. Socialism ignores

tendencies and to turn even selfishness to
service. Clearly, the Christian who accepts the
Bible must also accept democratic capitalism
or free enterprise as the system most
compatible with his worldview.”
