We study the way in which humans select products, bond with brands and move through environments. Using this knowledge, we work with some of the world’s most significant brands, creating concepts that adjust both conscious and subconscious behaviours. The Role As part of our continued growth, we are looking for a Junior Market Researcher to join our consumer insights team. This is an exciting position that is vital to our research process. Critical to ensuring the validity of the data we collect, the role will involve: First hand research: observing and interviewing members of the public in locations across the UK, Europe and, occasionally, further afield Reporting on your observations and findings, and accurately processing the data that you capture while out in the field Working with local fieldworkers in international markets and helping to ensure that projects run smoothly Conducting desk research to support our insights team and presenting your findings to your colleagues About You This exciting opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys asking questions, talking to people and wants to take on a role with the opportunity to learn and progress within a dynamic business. Your skills will include: Excellent interpersonal skills; you will need to be confident approaching, speaking to and engaging people Attention to detail; whether you’re entering data or creating a presentation, you’ll need an eye for detail Organisation and time management; as well as keeping to deadlines, you will need to keep to your travel schedule while working abroad You’ll need to have experience using Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint A degree and previous market research experience aren’t essential, but working in a promotional or customer facing role would be a real advantage We are looking for the most promising candidate for the role as our insights team is at the forefront of understanding human behaviour. Their work influences some of the most powerful brands around the world. The successful candidate will be based at one of our Nottingham offices; however, they will need to have a valid passport as this role involves regularly travelling outside of the UK.
