About Markerstudy
Markerstudy Group is a dynamic privately-owned organisation, headquartered in Bessels Green, near Sevenoaks,
employing nearly 3,000 employees in the UK and Gibraltar.
Established in 2001, it is known for insurance companies:
Over the past two years, new acquisitions have enhanced the ancillary and insurance broking businesses within Markerstudy Group.
In 2013 our already strong Retail arm was reinforced with the following companies coming on board:
Markerstudy identified a need to tackle fraud to reduce costs and insurance premiums, and created a specialist claims team in early
2013. Counter Fraud Workshops, which began in December 2013 showcase techniques to partners and other insurers to improve
future tactics. As well as reducing costs in not paying fraudulent claims, this initiative differentiates Markerstudy from its competitors
and builds better relationships with brokers, having a positive impact on turnover.
Rising insurance premiums prompted Markerstudy Group to research and develop its own telematics product in 2012. It monitors
driving style and rewards careful motorists by reducing premiums, ensuring the group can offer more competitive prices. This helps
retain customers which drives up turnover and profits.
Our 2012 GWP was £350.0M and our combined policy holder figure is approximately 2 million
