Homework Assignment #1 - Website
Assigned: Friday, 9/18/2015
Due: Tuesday, 9/22/2015 (our next classroom time)
I have done the following with my parent/guardian:
 Shown my parent Mrs. Parsons’ webpage located at the Paris Gibson
Education Center page, under the “More” tab.
 Within that webpage, we looked at the typed schedule for classroom
meeting times and drives.
 As we looked at the typed schedule – we took note of all changes (in
yellow) which include:
o Class cancelled on Tuesday, Oct. 20th, due to a concert
o Class added on Friday, Oct. 23rd, from 3:30-5:30
o Some students had drive adjustments for two reasons (same driver in
same time slot, students with greater/fewer than 12)
 We understand that the student cell #s are also a file available within that
webpage in order for me to make arrangements if ever I can’t make a drive.
o We understand that after I have found someone to swap with me, I
will then text Mrs. Parsons of the change (788-4729).
 Within that webpage, we looked through the resources including those to
help me study for the TELL test which will be on Thursday, September 24, in
class.
 We understand that if I do not pass the TELL test with Mrs. Parsons that I
must retake it at the DMV as soon as possible so that I may start my 50
hours of practice drives with my parent.
 We joined Remind 101 (see reverse side) and we will not reply to that text
but rather text Mrs. Parsons if ever we have questions (788-4729).
o Questions should not include when we have class or when you drive
as that is available online or you can print that out for yourself.
 I have copied my drive schedule to the reverse (you will get this back on
Monday after this assignment is entered into the gradebook).
