Board discussed ways to incentivize members to vote.

Katrina will be submitting an article for the newletter. TammyJo will submit
something on adapting to chemotherapy side effects.

evaluations.
Future recommendations based on review:
Avoid having Pharma as a speaker
50% return rate on evals = 33 people submitted evals.
Positive response

Lessons learned – fountain turned off when speaking
1 person to manage the RSVPs and checks

Merger Discussion
ONS has asked our chapter to consider merging with the Reading Chapter.
The board discussed many aspects of this proposal. We have questions about
what this means:
Can they join our chapter?
Our finances, voting would change if we become a larger chapter.
We don’t want to drive to Reading for 2-3 people.
If we drive to Reading would we lose participation
How does this change our chapter financially
After this discussion, the decision was for Katrina to reach back out to Brian
with these questions and further clarification.
