Clarence Earl Gideon is arrested in Florida and Is denied legal counsel. Beginning of the story Gideon’s Trumpet- chapter 6 Gideon writes to Supreme Court saying his Rights were violated. The Supreme looks at the case and agrees with Gideon Gideon writes to Fortas detailing his life. Fortas is selected to represent Gideon in The Supreme Court case. Background of the Supreme Court Justices. A review of Florida’s legal defense law. Gideon has a limited education. I could see the diligence Gideon has I enjoyed reading Gideon’s Letter about who he is. I felt Emotionally connected to him. A lot of legal background. I Didn’t like it too much.
