 The CIA’s University Accreditation Program (UAP)
provides students with the option of applying to
the CIA for exemptions from some of the early
actuarial exams of the SOA and CAS
 The option of gaining exam exemptions can
provide candidates with a portion of the
qualification requirements to become an Associate
of the CIA.

Second Year Representatives
Who are they?
 Represent the Actuarial Science Club as a
fellow student.
 Serve as a medium of communication between
the club and second year students.

Responsibilities
 Make announcements in class, transport pizzas
and drinks, and run to stores to buy gifts for
speakers in freezing weather conditions (all
TRUE stories)
 Sell tickets to strangers
 Sacrifice study time to help organize events

 Requirements: Must be enrolled in Actuarial
Science Subject POST (major or specialist), i.e.
enrolled in either ACT240, ACT245, or ACT247.
 Process: Application will be open in the next few
weeks. Submit an application form along with a
ONE PAGE resume to apply. Further details to
be posted on website shortly.
