• Advanced Placement courses are
offered to students in all academic
areas by recommendation only.
• Courses are college-level and are

• Courses culminate in mandatory
AP exams. Scores range from 1-5.

Junior Honor Society
Students become eligible for membership in the
Junior National Honor Society upon accumulation
of:
•A grade point average of 90 or higher by the
end of the third marking period, in 8th, 9th or
10th grade.
•A faculty committee will review the application
for academic, service, leadership and teacher
recommendation for each candidate.
Scholar Incentive
Medals
• Points are accumulated from
grades 9-12 based on Honor Rolls
• High Honor Roll = 2 points
• Honor Roll = 1 point
• Principal’s List = 0 points
• Highest medal earned will be
awarded to student during the
spring of senior year
