 Nana Mouskouri (Greek: N άνα Μούσχουρη, pronounced, born on October 13, 1934, in Chania, Crete, Greece, is a Greek singer. She was known as "Nána" to her friends and family as a child.
 In 1950, she was accepted at the
Conservatoire. She studied classical music with an emphasis on singing opera. After eight years at the
Conservatoire, Mouskouri was encouraged by her friends to experiment with jazz music. She began singing with her friends' jazz group at night.
 On 30 May 2013, Mouskouri was awarded an honorary degree by
McGill University, Montreal, Quebec,
Canada.
 Mouskouri was appointed a UNICEF
Goodwill Ambassador in October 1993.
She took over from the previous ambassador, the recently deceased actress Audrey Hepburn. Mouskouri's

Stamatopoulou (Greek: Αδαμαντία Σταματοπούλου), is a popular Greek singer. She was born in Piraeus on 13
April and raised in Athens by her jazz pianist father,
Nikos Stamatopoulos and a classic soprano opera mother Mary Apergi. From a young age she began to develop her talent and interest in music, and was characterized as a "born musician". On 14 March 2010,
Alpha TV ranked Mando the 23rd top-certified female artist in the nation's phonographic era (since 1960).
 At the age of 14, along with her school work, her music, and her English and French lessons, she performed in the musical "Jesus Christ Superstar", under the direction of Mimis Plessas and Dimitris
Malavetas.
 After the completion of her music studies and at the age of 18, she signed her first record contract with CBS, which gave her the international hit "Fill me up" and offered her the chance of an international career at a very young age
 In 1992, Mando was the first Greek artist to form her own fan club. It now has more than 20,000 members.

 Giannis Haroulis (Greek: Γιάννης Χαρούλης; born January 13, 1981) is a Cretan singer, songwriter and lute player. He plays a mixture of Greek folk and traditional
Cretan music infused with rock elements and modern sounds.
 He was born and raised in Crete, were he learned to play the lute and gave his first live performances at local festivals. In 2002, he traveled to Athens to take part in a concert, dedicated to
Nikos Xilouris, which was recorded and released as an album entitled When My
Friends Come, Mother in 2003.
 He has released the solo albums Around
Me and Within in 2003, Winter Flower in
2006 and Witchcrafts in 2012.
Witchcrafts received the Golden Album award,[3] while his 2015 live album A
Thousand Times Welcome – Live entered the Greek music charts at the number one place.

 Anastasios "Sakis" Rouvas (Greek:
Αναστάσιος "Σάκης" Ρουβάς, pronounced
[ ˈ sacis ru ˈ vas]; born 5 January 1972), known mononymously as Sakis, is a
Greek recording, film and television artist; model; businessman and former pole vaulter. Born in Corfu, he won medals on the national athletics team during the 1980s. Rouvas began a musical career in 1991 as one of Greece's first pop performers, popularizing
Western music. His tenor vocals, complex choreography, costumes, and technological advancements have been credited with transforming music videos and live performances.
 The Greek Forbes listed him the thirdmost-influential celebrity in Greece and its top-ranked singer;[304] describing him as a "commercial phenomenon", the magazine called
Rouvas Greece's strongest brand.

 Pyx Lax was a Greek rock band. Originally formed in 1989, they released their first recording in 1990, and had a critical and commercial success in the Greek music industry for fifteen years, before being dissolved in 2004. They are considered as the most successful, commercially, group in the history of Greek discography with three gold and five platinum albums (among which: Yia Tous
Prigkipes Tis Dytikis Ohthis, Stilvi, Yparhoun
Hrysopsara Edo?).
 Initially the members of the band were Filippos
Pliatsikas, Babis Stokas, Sakis Stamoulis, and
Panayiotis Spyropoulos. Their professional recording career began with a demo cassette which they delivered to Minos EMI in Athens.
 In their time, Pyx Lax were considered to be one of the most popular bands in Greece. Sotiria
Malfa, a Greek critic wrote that "The stamp of
Pyx Lax on Greek music of the end of the 90s and the beginning of the 00s is something more than profound.“
 The band has been recognized for both their longevity and the number of records they sold, as well as "the unique feeling which was created between Pyx Lax and their beloved public.“

 Alkinoos Ioannidis (Greek: Αλκίνοος
Ιωαννίδης; born September 19, 1969) is a
Greek-Cypriot composer, lyricist, singer, and orchestrator.
 He was born in Nicosia on 19
September 1969. His artistic family, with a painter father and poet brother was a source of inspiration for him.
He first wanted to study drums, but couldn't due to the lack of a drum teacher in Nicosia. Instead, he studied guitar.
 At the age of 23 he recorded his first album called Stin Agora Tou
Kosmou (Greek: Στην Αγορά Του Κόσμου , In
The World's Market) with lyrics and music written by Nikos Zoudiaris.
This demo tape eventually reached the hands of a well known singer,
Dimitra Galani. She instantly became fond of their music and Alkinoos' voice and helped them get a record deal.

) (born
1978 in Piraeus, Greece), known professionally by his stage name Stereo Mike, is a Greek hip hop artist. He is the first MTV EMA Award winner in the "Best Greek Act" category. Stereo Mike represented Greece in the Eurovision Song
Contest 2011 alongside the singer Loucas
Yiorkas with the song "Watch My Dance", placing seventh with 120 points.
 Exarhos was born in 1978 in Piraeus, Greece to a Greek father and Croatian mother from
Rijeka. At the age of 18, his musical interest brought him to the UK for education in the field at the universities of Leeds Metropolitan
University and University of Westminster.
 Stereo Mike was nominated at the Mad Video
Music Awards in 2005 for "Best Hip-Hop Video
Clip" and in 2008 for "Best Hip-Hop Video Clip" and for "Video Clip Of The Year".
 He released his debut album in Greece titled
Satirical Nomads by Mo' Money Recording$

 The band was formed in Athens in 1998 by six members and former members of The
Last Drive, Honeydive, Rockin' Bones and
Engine-V. After playing locally for about a year, including a SLOT in Rockwave festival in 1999, the Earthbound recorded its debut 7" single "The Valley/Riverside
Song/Tercera Cancion", released with
Fractal Press magazine.
 In 2004 they signed to Sirius (the record label formed by Manos Hadjidakis) and started working on their third album,
Brotherhood of the Dog, this time produced by Jim Spliff and the band itself.
The album was released later the same year and featured 11 songs (including an
Ennio Morricone cover).
 In early 2005 they played two gigs in
Cyprus and recruited a second trumpet player, Johnny Mato (also member of Dr.
