Research Coordinator position: Visual Cognition Laboratory Department of Psychology Northwestern University Preferred start date: July 1st, 2014 We are seeking applicants for a Research Coordinator position in the Visual Cognition Lab at Northwestern University (Primary Investigator: Dr. Steven Franconeri). The responsibilities of the position include subject recruitment and running, data analysis, budget and grant administration, supervising undergraduate students, and performing maintenance on laboratory equipment. The position is ideal for a recent graduate who wishes to experience psychology research prior to applying to graduate or medical school. Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in psychology, neuroscience, computer science, or a related field. Familiarity with computers, independent research experience, and strong organizational and interpersonal skills are desirable. Experience with statistics and/or programming would be advantageous and interest in learning ERP, eye-tracking, and behavioral methodologies is also a plus. The laboratory is part of Northwestern University's Psychology Department.
