Put video clips onto class website. What is a cinquain? • A cinquain is a five-line poem that has special syllable counts. • A cinquain poem has its own unique format. What is the layout? Line 1: A one-word line, should be a noun. This is your subject. Line 2: Two adjectives about the subject. Line 3: Three verbs that end in –ing that are about the subject. But how do I use a thesaurus? Using a thesaurus…in the classroom. 1. Go over to the book shelf and take one down. 2.
