Introduction
Hey, I’m Sarah. As you may or may not know, I run
CrushTheCubicle.com. I specialize and I’m passionate about
empowering others to find a career or develop a business
that allows them to “Crush The Cubicle” and work when
and where they want – whether that’s on a beach, in their
backyard, or in a café in Italy – and enjoy what they’re doing

There are so many “Cubicle Crushing, Work From Anywhere” opportunities out
there, but one of my favorites is leveraging the power of video and YouTube.
Yes, you can build a whole career centered on video and YouTube. I could literally
write an entire book about all of the various ways video and YouTube can be used to
generate cash for you (quick cash, steady careers, or your own long-term business).
In this report I’m going to focus on five options.
I mentioned that YouTube and video is one of my favorite opportunities right now.
Why is that?
For starters, video and YouTube marketing is exploding. It is literally one of the best
ways to get found online, engage visitors and develop long-term customer
relationships. If a picture is worth a thousand words, a video is worth a million.
Plus, video marketing is a perfect Cubicle Crushing option. You just need a computer
and an Internet connection and potentially a few hundred dollars worth of

YouTube Power:
YouTube is definitely the present and foreseeable future of Internet marketing. It is
far easier to rank on YouTube than it is on Google. And, many YouTube videos show
up on page one of Google searches. Google owns YouTube and has and will
continue to have a strong incentive to support the platform and showcase videos
within Google search results.
Compared to Wild West of website ranking, YouTube ranking is much easier. You just
need to know exactly what to do and the results can be remarkable.
Note:
While video and Youtube is a real and potentially extremely profitable opportunity,
this isn’t for everyone. If you’re looking for the secret “magic button” on your
computer that you push and money spits out, then this isn’t for you (as there isn’t a
secret button – the secret is in finding the right opportunity for YOU and then
dedicating yourself to pursuing and mastering it). Some work is always involved.
Having said that, I also want to stress that video and YouTube marketing is an
extremely valuable skill for anyone wanting to do business online today. No matter
what you’re ultimate career path is, having video creation and video marketing skills
in your back pocket is a “holy cow I’m glad I know this” asset as it opens up so many
doors.

Cash Option #1: Online Video Ad Producer
Overview
Online Promotional Videos or “Video Ads” can be anywhere from a few seconds to a
few minutes long. They are much like commercials you see on TV, except they are
made for the web. They can be advertising any number of sites, services, products,
or brands and be used on YouTube, for video ad campaigns on a number of different
ad networks, for trailers, or on websites to introduce products or brands, announce
upcoming events, used to solicit donations, and for a host of other purposes.
Online video ad statistics are impressive. For instance, in April of 2013, Americans
watched a record 13.3 billion video ads. Video ads reached 53 percent of the total
U.S. population an average of 82 times during the month.1
You can acquire the necessary skills and equipment fairly quickly to enter into this
field. With just a little bit of training, you can be developing high quality videos within
a short time.
You can work as an employee for a video production company, as a direct employee
for a company that does a lot of video marketing, open your own promotional video
business, or work as a freelancer (you can find gigs on sites like eLance and Guru).
Quick Start Recommendation
Pick a specific style that interests you most and specialize in producing that type of
video. Specializing, especially in the beginning, is a great way to get started, avoid
overwhelm, develop proficiency, and “get in the money” quickly. Once you pick your

style, find a good training program and get started making sample videos to develop
your portfolio and skills.
Types of Videos You Can Specialize in Producing:
1. PowerPoint/Keynote – Usually “educational or long sales videos use this style” but
some promotional videos can use this option as well. Here you create a PowerPoint
style presentation for clients and do a screen recording (using something like
Camtasia or Screenflow) of the presentation. The client might supply the voiceover,
you might do this for them, or you might outsource the voiceover to another
contractor through a site like Fiverr.com, Freelancer, or eLance.
2. Animation – Before you say “but I can’t draw” there are some amazing programs
out there that allow you to develop high quality animated videos without being a
cartoonist or animator. Your creativity and ambition are you’re only limitations.
3. Whiteboard – Nope you don’t have to draw for this one either! You can develop
amazing whiteboard, hand-drawn videos the first day you’re using our recommended
Whiteboard program. Many charge clients $100s and even $1000s of dollars for short
videos created using this program. Big opportunity here!

4. Commercial Style Promotional Videos – This is the typical TV ad style of videos.
You’ll need to learn a program like Final Cut Pro, Sony Vegas or even just iMovie to
get started. You can buy stock video and photo clips or use your own video camera
to capture client footage. You can record amazing video for the web using
something as simple as your iPhone.

Cash Option #2: Video Editor
Overview
With the surge in video marketing and the popularity of sites like YouTube, comes a
very high demand for video content. Someone needs to develop all of that video
content and also EDIT it, right? Well, that someone can be you.
There are many businesses struggling to keep up with all of the content creation
demands and many just don’t have the time or expertise to tackle video. That’s
where you come in to save the day (and pocket some nice coin in the process).
Many clients will have raw footage of events, presentations, interviews, webinars,
etc. and simply do not have the time, expertise or interest in editing the raw footage
and pulling together something that is ready for distribution on the web.
You can use programs like Camtasia (PC and MAC) or Screenflow (MAC) to edit
screen recordings (and even basic live video footage) or more professional video
editing programs like Final Cut Pro. Sony Vegas is good low-priced option and you
can even use something like iMovie to get started if you have a MAC.

Getting started can be as easy as finding a few good online training programs and
starting as a freelancer and acquiring jobs through sites like eLance.com.

Cash Option #3: Video Marketing Specialist
Overview
I mentioned that video marketing and YouTube is one of the best ways to get found
online. However, it isn’t a simple matter of create it and people will find it. You need
to have an overall strategy and understand how to rank videos within Video sites like
YouTube and within Google’s search results.
YouTube and Google’s policies and algorithms constantly change. And, making a
misstep can potentially get your channel shut down and/or site banned from Google’s
and YouTube’s search results. So, it is imperative that you know what techniques to
use and NOT use (we reveal what techniques to avoid Video Tube Crusher training–
some of which many others still teach you to use).
Because it takes specialized knowledge and skill to get videos ranked and producing
results there is a big opportunity for those “in the know.”
This is where people (potentially just like you) develop expertise in understanding
how to use videos (which they might not even produce themselves) to acquire and
retain customers. In other words, you don’t even have to know how to produce

Cash Option #4: Affiliate Marketer
Overview
Affiliate marketing is pay for performance marketing with at least two parties
involved in the sales process. There is an affiliate (or publisher) and a merchant. In
some cases there is also a third party called an “affiliate network.”
An affiliate (or publisher) is someone who has a list, website or other means of
attracting and communicating with people who could potentially buy a product. A
merchant is someone with a product (good or service) that they would like to sell.
An affiliate network is a third-party organization that facilitates bringing affiliates
and merchants together and tracking sales and payments.
Publishers find products that merchants are offering that would be of interest and
valuable to their audience and in return for mentioning or advertising these products
to their audience, they get paid a commission for any resulting sale by the merchant.
The merchant is responsible for fulfilling the order. If no sale is made, no money is
exchanged (hence the term pay for performance).
For instance, Amazon has an extensive and easy to join affiliate program. Almost
anyone can become an affiliate and start making commissions right away by
promoting nearly any one of the hundreds of thousands of products that they carry.
Amazon would be the “merchant” in this case and you’d be the affiliate if you
pursued this option. As a side note, Amazon runs there own affiliate program so
there isn’t a third party “affiliate network” like Commission Junction involved.
And, here’s the best part… you can do this solely through video marketing and
YouTube. You don’t even need a website or a customer list to get started. And,

you’ll never need to worry about order fulfillment. You just focus on creating and
ranking videos - that’s it. The merchant actually fulfills the orders.
How? It really isn’t that complicated…
1. Join Amazon’s affiliate program and find products you’d like to promote. Amazon
is a great place to start by the way, as they have an extensive list of products and
easy to join program.
Step 2: Pick a hot keyword

Step 3: Create your Video
You have several options on how to actually create the video…
Option 1: Slideshow with you talking
 Microsoft Office PowerPoint: Microsoft PowerPoint is a presentation program
for Windows and OS X. It is used to create slideshows, composed of text,
graphics, and other objects, which can be displayed on-screen and shown by the
presenter. They have the desktop version located right here and the online
version located right here. If you have a Mac, you can use Keynote.
 OpenOffice Impress: consists of a presentation program that comes with Apache
OpenOffice (AOO) which is an open-source office productivity software suite.
Impress is referred as an analogous to Microsoft PowerPoint and Apple Keynote.

 Camtasia Studio: Camtasia Studio is a software application for creating video
tutorials and presentations (screen video capture), published by TechSmith. This
is just absolutely amazing; this is the one I use. Get access to your copy here.
 Camstudio: CamStudio is a screen casting program for Microsoft Windows
released as free software. It is a wonderful free option as well. Download your
copy here.
 Screenflow: If you have a MAC, I’d recommend using Screenflow over Camtasia
Studio. It is very similar to Camtasia, but more stable for MAC users.
Option 2: Website recording with you talking, this consists of you talking while you
are browsing a website that perfectly fits your topic. For this we will use:
 Camtasia or Screenflow
 Camstudio
Option 3: Record yourself with you talking, which consists of you talking while you
are recording yourself with a video cam recorder. Your iPhone or a cheap video
recorder will do just fine here.
Option 4: Pay someone to do it for you; well I think this is just self-explanatory. For
this we will use:
 Fiverr.com
 BringitVideo.com
 eLance.com (or other freelancing sites)
Creating a video does take some time and skill, but thankfully you don’t have to
create the videos yourself. You can go to sites like Fiverr.com, eLance or
BringitVideo.com and have someone create short videos for you. Then, you just need
to rank them on YouTube.

Step 4: Upload & Optimize Video
Now that we have our video ready, it’s time to upload it and optimize it for the search
engines to find it.
Step 5: Rank your Video
Here’s where it gets interesting and sometimes controversial. It is also where you
can potentially get yourself in hot water as well. Be very careful with some of the
“quick ranking” options that are being taught out there. Many have found channels
shut down and websites being banned.

Overview
CPA (Cost Per Action) marketing is very similar to the affiliate marketing option
mentioned above. However, instead of being paid if a “sale” is made, you (as the
publisher) get paid if a user just completes an “action” such as entering their email or
phone number into a form to request more information about the product or service
being offered.
Step 1: Chose a high converting CPA offer
First of all you need to pick a hot CPA offer. In this example I will use
MaxBounty.com. Let’s look for something free, easy to get and attractive like an
iPhone, laptop, iPad, coupons, etc.

These types of offers convert great because people won’t have to buy anything. They
just need to put down their email and that does it.
As you can see, Social Traffic is allowed. That’s what we are looking for too.
Step 2: Pick a hot keyword
The 3 most important components that you will need to find in a keyword are:
