The following are a summary of the survey results: • Cost of attending ANS meetings needs to come down Aim for $500 early registration fee for ANS members. Identify cities/venues with economical hotels and flights. • President’s reception should last 2.5 hours. 11/12/2014 RPD Presentation to ANS Board 15 RPD Services to Membership • Avoid too many parallel sessions and wasted time slots. Use 20-minute time slots instead of 25. Run technical sessions until 5 pm (or later in some special cases). Consolidate smaller technical sessions. Run a Monday evening poster session (6 to 8:30) with refreshments and cash bar.
