• Monday, November 3rd- presented new “tener” phrases vocab with visuals, worksheet to practice the difference between “ser” and
“estar”
• Tuesday, November 4th- practiced a “tener” phrase in the entry task, did a series of Q&A using “tener” phrases, worked in a group to use
estar, tener, and adjectives from pg. 268 to describe a magazine picture, rotated and made corrections to other posters, practice with
“tener” phrases in the book
• Thursday, Nov. 6th (block periods)- practiced a “tener” phrase in the entry task, did a series of Q & A using “tener” phrases, received
“Exceeding” level adjective list, practice writing to describe a small picture on a worksheet
• Friday, Nov 7th- received corrected written work from the day before, had time to make corrections and complete it or do book practice
• Monday, Nov 10th- practiced a “tener” phrase in the entry task, did a series of Q & A using “tener” phrases, played “Matamoscas” to
practice describing words, formative writing assessment
• (Tues no school) Wednesday, Nov 12th- Entry task= use “estar” to talk about RIGHT NOW; introduced present progressive and vocab list,
did practice on vocab list, wrote examples together, started looking at “Perdidos” song
• Thursay, Nov 13th- entry task practiced present progressive, listened to song again, present progressive practice worksheets
• Friday, Nov 14th – entry task practiced present progressive, started posters, homework assigned
• Monday, Nov 17th – Entry task practice describing a picture, received formative assessment with feedback and reflected on errors
• Tuesday, Nov 18th- practiced writing in a group with poster
• Wednesday, Nov 19th- entry task practiced “right now” versus “in general” descriptions, charades, listening test practice and practice
saying descriptions out loud
• Thursday, Nov 20th- Entry task practice describing a picture, formative listening assessment
• Friday, Nov 21st – received formative assessment with feedback and reflected on errors
