Participation Agreement
In enrolling myself or my child (“participant”) for a Scout-It-Out™ Workshop and/or using Educadium
EasyCampus™ systems (the Service). Participant understands that he/she engages in the Workshop
activities and/or uses the EasyCampus™ systems at his/her own risk. You are solely responsible for the
photos, profiles (including your name, image, and likeness), messages, notes, text, information, music,
video, listings, links, and other content that you upload, publish or display (hereinafter, "post") on or
through the Service or the Site, or transmit to or share with other users (collectively the "Content").
Scout-It-Out, LLC and Educadium EasyCampus™ reserves the right, but does not assume the
responsibility, to monitor or review your conduct while using the Service.
Scout-It-Out, LLC and its owners, managers, employees or agents, shall not be liable for any damage
whatsoever arising from any personal injury or property loss sustained by participant or his/her family
while engaged in Scout-It-Out™ activities. Participants and parents assume full responsibility for all
injuries and damages which occur in or about any Scout-It-Out ™ programs or activities. Participant
does hereby fully and forever release discharged hold harmless Scout-It-Out, LLC, and its owners,
managers employees, and agents from any and all claims, demands, damages or rights of action, present
or future resulting from any person’s participation in any programs or use of the systems. In addition,
he/she agree(s) to follow the rules of conduct and participation set by Scout-It-Out, LLC. Failure to do so
may result in suspension from participation.
If a child is under the age of 13, a parent or legal guardian MUST sign up for an account under the
parent’s name before the child may use the Service. Children under the age of 13 may not send personal
information to the Service without proper parental consent.
Scout-It-Out, LLC is concerned about the safety and privacy of children online. We take reasonable
efforts to comply with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act, effective April 21, 2000 (COPPA). The
Websites are not intended to solicit information of any kind from children under the age of 13. The only
personal information we receive about children under the age of 13 is information provided by the
parent or legal guardian. It is possible that by fraud or deception by others we may receive information
pertaining to children under the age of 13. If we are notified of the receipt of information under such
circumstances, once verified, we will promptly obtain parental or guardian consent, and in the absence
of such consent will delete the information. If you want to notify us that we have inadvertently received
information for a child under the age of 13, please do so by emailing us scout-it-out@att.net.
Scout-It-Out, LLC will collect the following information from its Users/Participants/Parents/Guardians:
Full name of Parent/Guardian, First name with last initial of minor using the Service, email address, city,
state, and country. Personal information gathered by Scout-It-Out, LLC will be directly collected from
the child/parent and used internally for purposes of registration and un-identifiable demographic
statistics.
Scout-It-Out, LLC does not disclose personal information to 3rd parties.
Scout-It-Out, LLC will not require a child to disclose more information than is reasonably necessary to
participate in an activity as a condition of participation.
At any time a parent may revoke his/her consent to Content on the Educadium EasyCampus™ system.
Their child’s content and/or enrolled status can be removed. This can be done by contacting Scout-ItOut, LLC at scout-it-out@att.net. Refund policies remain applicable.
Scout-It-Out, LLC and its assigns may utilize any and all photographs, pictures or other likeness of
participants or anyone assigned guardianship to participant, as they deem appropriate and per the
Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act in its promotional materials. Examples include but are not
limited to any Content that: describes the Content and/or User, visually represents the Content and/or
User, audibly represents the Content and/or User. No facial or personally identifiable Content will ever
be used without permission from parent/guardian.
We require that parents and guardians supervise the activity of all children under the age of 18 when
using the Service.
A participant under the age of 19 must be the primary end user of the Service.
You must be a human. Accounts registered by “bots” or other automated methods are not permitted.
You are responsible for keeping copies using your own facilities and are encouraged to back up your
Content. Scout-It-Out, LLC and Educadium EasyCampus™ are not responsible if you fail to maintain
copies of any Content.
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and password. Educadium will not be
liable for any loss or damage from your failure to do so. You agree to immediately notify us of any
unauthorized use of your account or any other breach of security related to your account or the Service.
You agree to "log off"/exit from your account at the end of each session. We are not liable for any loss
or damage arising from your failure to comply with any of the foregoing obligations.
Educadium EasyCampus™ and Scout-It-Out, LLC may remove Content or disable an account whose use is
unlawful, harmful, threatening, damaging or otherwise of concern in any way. Examples include but are
not limited to any Content or uses that: Are illegal or unauthorized, or promote illegal or unauthorized activity, Give rise to
criminal or civil liability or encourages conduct that constitutes a criminal offense, including prostitution, or that encourages or provides
instructional information about such illegal activities, Modify or hack the Service, Copy, distribute, retransmit, publish or broadcast any part
of the Service, Are offensive, harmful, threatening, advocating violence, hateful, harassing, defamatory, invasive of the privacy of another,
stalking, obscene, abusive, vulgar, indecent, sexually explicit, pornographic or otherwise objectionable, Include any third-party sensitive or
confidential information, or violate a contract with or duty to any third party including but not limited to inside information, proprietary and
confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or nondisclosure agreements, Infringe any intellectual
property right or publicity right, Are false, deceptive or misleading, Impersonate any person or entity or misrepresent an affiliation with any
person or entity, Contain or transmit any worm, virus or other code, program or routine that damages, interferes with, intercepts or
expropriates any system, data or information from any part of the Service, Attempt to reverse engineer or derive source code from any part
of the Service, Contain bulk email, unsolicited commercial email, political campaign material, SMS, spam messages, chain letters, pyramid
schemes, unsolicited or unauthorized advertising or promotional materials, or any other form of advertising or solicitation, Harvest or collect
email addresses or other contact or database information for any unauthorized purpose, including the sending of unsolicited communications,
Solicit personal information from minors for any non-pedagogical purpose, Make use of automated scripts to interact with the Service,
Frame or mirror any part of the Service without prior written approval, or otherwise manipulate or disguise the origin of any Content
transmitted through the Service, and/or Cause an abnormal increase in bandwidth consumption.
Educadium EasyCampus™ claims no intellectual property rights in the material you provide to the
Service, including but not limited to postings, documents, assessments, multimedia, learning content,
and promotional materials (“Content”). The EDUCADIUM and EASYCAMPUS name and logo are service
marks of Educadium. Scout-It-Out™ name and logo are trademark protected. Content provided by
Scout-It-Out, LLC is under copyright protection and cannot be copied, redistributed, or displayed to nonregistered Users without permissions. Other trademarks appearing on the Service are the property of
their respective owners.
You represent and warrant that any credit information that you supply to us for a purchase is truthful
and complete and that charges incurred by you will be honored by your credit card company/ecommerce company. Service prices are subject to change upon 30 days’ notice.
Parent/guardian identity and agreement to terms of use and participation are verified through the
payment method used to acquire access to the Service.
